Hey Wedge! Long time no see.

 

It's his choice any everyone wishes him well, but you can't deny that his job will be to uphold peace and all that stuff. So, if someone's going to try and kill me/attack us as a whole , it's a good thing that he'll probably be there to save my pasty white nerd ass (Well, not him personally in a logical world, but that's what I was trying to imply).

Just to clarify... I live in Norway, not the US. In Norway, everyone has to do military service once they reach 18. ( You can do a civil service if you want, but that`s boring as hell ). So in short, it`s not really my choice.

Oh, and I wasn`t offended at all by what any of you said.

I know, I looked in your profile. At first I though you were a Kiwi, like SFL and my post originally was making fun of their airforce, which is nonexistant. And how cool it was that their army got to be Orcs in LotR.

I didn't know about the manditory military service though. Still, good luck with that.

And I'm, err, more than half Scandanavian . . . so yeah. Whoo.

EDIT: SFL, I haven't been around the JC much because of new computer/out of country. Visting beutiful NZ and Australia no less. But I'm back now.

Power outages for an entire week suck.

Flew into Christchurch and stayed around there for about two nights, took train up to north coast of the South Island and then ferry to Wellington. Then a few days about an hour outside of the city in a small town with a family, then a few days in Rotorua before heading up to Auckland for about a day and leaving.

It was great. Southern Alps were seriously the most awesomest, beutiful sights I've ever seen. And the people I was with weren't half bad either.
