Farewell Katie Johnson.

    Yesterday, August 9, 2005, Katie Johnson lost her battle with cancer at 5:20pm. She was seven years old. As most of you know, Katie's father Albin founded the 501st, the world's official Imperial costuming organization. Please take a moment in the next day or so to add Katie and her family into your thoughts. I'm sure the Johnson family can use all the support it can get. Anyone interested in more information can go to The 501st Official site and Katie's official website I will be leaving condolenses for Rhode Squadron and myself tonight.

    One of the highlights of C3 for me was seeing all the 501st/RL people gathered at the dinner and hearing the results of their efforts for Katie and her family. Truly inspirational.
    May the Force be with them all...
