Knox, TN Farragut HS SW club forming - 501/ other costumers wanted to help at registration

My friends and I are starting a Star Wars Fan Club this fall at Farragut High School. We would greatly appreciate anyone who has a costume to help us at the registration called "summer insanity" at the school (date announced later, but probable the first week of August), and it would only be for a few hours. Anyone interested in walking around in costume helping us get people interested and signed up would be a great help. Schools are usually touchy about having visitors, have you checked on this?

 

Hey, someone contacted the 501st about this and we've sent a few replys.. Basically its a work day thing from 1-5pm and we don't have any troops that are free those times. (Darth Real-life)
..also If we did have someone available, it takes a lot of convincing to let school administration allow 'strangers' in masks and with toy 'weapons' on school grounds to interact with students!
we have a difficult time with events at schools and hospitals without proper, upfront communications..
We'd love to help out with your clubs activities sometime if the events are weekends or the occasional work night- Just let us know.
