Father

Obi-Wan had made tea and a soft smile appeared on his face. More than 2 years had passed since he found the hovel than had become his home, the home of a hermit. He gazed at the table where an elegant porcelain cup was standing. It had belonged to Qui-Gon and he had packed it in his trunk when he fled the temple.

He remembered his master who had been like a father to him, sharing with him the sadness and joy, teaching him, comforting him.

He poured a cup and heard a soft chuckle ?still using my old porcelain cup.?
?Yes Qui-Gon, coming to teach me??

?Yes Padawan.?

Obi-Wan finished his tea and sat down on the floor dressed in his brown cloak and started his meditation.

If we watch carefully
We see their faces
Pure, innocent and white
Pure eternal love
Pure like their souls

If we listen carefully
We hear their voices
Gentle like the waves
We hear their voices
In hushed whispers
On the wind

You and I will meet again
And all will turn to silver light
A light that will ignite the stars
All souls pass into the light
That is
The Force?

White
White like the eternal consciousness
White like the beings I will meet
White like the Force

I am white
I am luminous
I am a white luminous being.

And finishing the last words he felt the arms of Qui-Gon enveloping him and he snuggled comfortably in their embrace. ?My father, you are here for me, guiding me.?

Superb! I always sthink of Qui-Gon as being close as a father to Obi-Wan when I watched TPM and especially reading fanfiction about them. Qui seems warm, humorous, wise... not "hide bound" as the expression is. A very tender touching piece.

And sorry that I wasn´t on-line so long. But there was much stress due to university and school matters recently. And then I became ill with the flue, trying to go on anyway. Today I reported ill.

I slept the entire day, nicely nursed by my concerned husband, and now I am on-line, confronted with all of your wonderful up-dates.
