Post your favorite scene from LotR.My personal favorite is when Pippin knocks the skeleton into the well and Gandalf fusses at him!

 

The first close-up shot of Legolas. Oh yeah!

 

Also when Pippin nearly falls face first into that horse poopoo..lol.And when Frodo first appears on screen.

 

The one where Legolas stands up and announces:
"This is no mere Ranger. He is Aragorn, son of Arathorn?and you owe him your allegiance."


or

The whole scene involving Gandalf against the Balrog ("You shall not pass!") ,his sacrifice, and the Fellowship's reaction.

 

Gandalf is my favorite character, but i have too words for you: ELIJAH WOOD. Man, is he hot.

Favorite scene: when Gandolf yells at Pippin for touching the skelton. That cracked me up!

 

Uh-oh....you go Page!!!!!! that's my favorite character

 

Yeah, the sound of the skeleton hitting the side of the well went on for almost five minutes,the look on pippin's face when he hears it cracked me up too!

 

...the last fight scene when Legolas stabs that cat in the eye and shoots the other one right over top of him...

 

The Fall of Boromir

 

Any scene revolving around Arwen and Aragorn

Damn, I also love the last three scenes mentioned!

 

I don't know the arrows make me sick

 

The arrows made Legolas. Without them, he's just Legolas without the arrows. Did that come out right?

 

I also like the part when Frodo says"I'm going to Mordor alone" and Sam says"I know and I'm coming with you",oh and also near the end when Frodo is crying a little bit and is thinking to himself "why has the Ring come to me?".His eyes are so blue in that scene

 

no, i meant the part when the arrows went through Boromir

 

i also like the part when they have to jump across the pit (the part where Gandolf falls ) and the drarf says "no one throws me" i don't remember his name

 

Aragorn avenging the death of Boromir, a.k.a. the "What All of America Would Like To See Happen To Osama bin Laden" scene.

Aside from that, there are just to many great moments in the movie to pick just one. The brotherhoods and friendships established, the emotions tested... everything was just beautiful.

 

Ah...I understand...I thought you meant just general bloodshed Legolas style...

On a lighter note: one of the funniest scenes was when Bilbo wants to hold the ring, Frodo refuses, and Bilbo morphs into that whatever thing and tries to take it...I fell out of my seat at the theater it was so funny.

that scene with frodo and bilbo kinda freaked me out...

Yeah, it was meant to be scary... highlighting the fact that Bilbo was slowly being turned into a twisted creature like Gollum. *shiver*

 

I liked the part where the hobbits were on their way to Bree and they were sneaking around in the forest when they see a Black Rider in the dark. I love the shot with the blue-ish black sky and the Rider's just there in the middle of it.

I also like the whole Council of Elrond scene.

 

OOO the very beginning when we first see Frodo- i almost fainted... he is hot. I loved that part. ::
