Fave Ever SW Line

With only 1 more film left and 5 of them already under our belt, what would you have to say is your fave ever line from a Star Wars movie? Is it from a bad guy/gal or a good guy/gal... is it one of the more popular lines like "I gotta bad feeling about this" or is it one that we do not nomally pay attention to or doesnt really mean that much when said.

lets see how it go's, heres mine:

"So be it.... Jedi" The Emperor RotJ.

One of my all time classic lines, the Emp is just so damn evil and he says it with such calmness (Classic) and with the musical score in the background at the same time, this has to be my favourite line in a SW film.

In response to your question, I have a number of favorite lines from the different Star Wars movies.

However, if I have to pick one, it would have to be:

"You've failed, Your Highness. I am a Jedi, like my father before me."


I absolutely love that line!

I also think most of Han's lines are great, and Lando's "Death Staa!" is also among my favorites.


Ken Kenobi- And you have a nice day

 

If I had to pick only one, I guess it would be: "Never tell me the odds!"
Awsome line, that one is.

 

My favorite is probably this:

"Lord Vader, the fleet has moved out of lightspeed and we're preparing to ? ARRGGHH!" ? Admiral Ozzel

My other favorite is actually two lines:

"I don't believe it!" ? Luke

"That is why you fail." ? Yoda

 

Yeah, the "A jedi like my father" line is way up there for me.

But I hafta say the one that hit me the hardest when I heard it was-

"You're in my very soul, tormenting me"

It's the first line that comes to mind, and the one that left the deepest impression, though I know there are others I like a lot, too.

 

"Do or do not there is not try" I just love this line from Yoda

"No,I am your father" What a turning point in the OT no one saw that coming.

 

this is a tough one,

Whatever the line vader says during my icon

 

"Fear leads to Anger...Anger leads to hate...hate leads to suffering..."

That always gives me chills.

 

I would have to say:

"I've got a bad feeling about this",

the "Aggressive negotiations" speech between Padme and Anakin at the clone war,

and the ever popular "Good Job".

 

"But I've got to save you!"

"You already have, Luke..."


Gets me every time.

That is my absolute fave line...still gives me chills when Luke says it. And then followed with the Emperor's

"So be it, Jedi."

Who's scruffy looking? -Han Solo

 

I can't POSSIBLY choose ONE!

It would either have to be:

"Everything that has transpired according to MY design." So megalomaniac

"So be it...Jedi"

and "Oh I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive..."

From the PT:

"Wipe them out. All of them."

"Hmmmm..." FIGSers will know that one

Palpatine gets all the best lines.

 

"My ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is." ~ Yoda.

I don't know why, that line is just cool.

All you need is love!

 

Young fool . . . only now at the end, do you understand - Emperor Palpatine

 

Oh, how could I forget these lines:

Luke: "Your overconfidence is your weakness..."

Palpatine: "And your faith in your friends is yours!"


The way the Emperor snaps back at Luke like that...whew. His every word drips with contemptous clarity, covered in a candy shell of hatred....


...and it's marvelous.

Yeah it is a bit too hard to choose just one line... so that's why i would have to add two more of my fave lines from my personal favourite SW, RotJ.

"The shield is down! Commence attack on the Death Star's main reactor." - Ackbar

Now, young Skywalker...you will die

"Now, young Skywalker...you will die." - Emperor

My favorite has to be...

It's not my fault!

 

This is just the beginning. . . - Count Dooku

There is something about that line that truely give's me the chills, because it was not just refering to the Clone Wars themselves but the destruction of the Republic and reign of the Empire.

Special recognition to:

"I'm not afraid."

"You will be, you will be."

Yoda is the ultimate charcter for the dimunitive proverb and guide persona, this line as well as countless other one's just stand's to prove that.

Always loved So be it...Jedi He basically spits the words onto Luke.

Obi with "Oh, Not good." can come in handy in real life quite often.

I think my all time fav is probably, "Be Mindful" I have a metal sign hanging up with that saying just cause it's good advice.
