I know Ken plays as well...
so does Joseph, he was in a couple of bands, he plays bass and guitar..... he has all the equipment...
and he sings too......off key.......
he's good though.....
I like Earth wind and Fire, Kiss, and Journey,
Chicago... the old stuff from the 70's....
easy going music...
I like LIVE, probably my favorite of all time. Lets see Nirvana ranks pretty high as does the Offspring. Pearljam, stained, Tool and Im almost (well am) ashamed to say it but I really like Jewel. My wife got me turned on to her music...as well as others I wont mention for the sake of remaining Masculine
The Offspring are so cool. I feel like such a bad mom, cuz my son's favorite song is "Hit It" Thank god he has no idea what it means.
lol that is pretty funny.
My brother and I already have a Star Wars tribute band we're starting called Kessel Run
My co worker has been listening to the Killers all day today. It's really pretty good. I'm suprised, I thought they were going to be crap, but it's a good CD. It has a very 80's feel to it
Yes, I agree, its good.
hmmm we'll be here awhile but i'll just make is short lol
All time favs: Dave matthews band, Phish, Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident, then of course classic rock stuff floyd, zepplin, beatles, Ac/Dc etc

Rage Against the Machine, Suicidal Tendencies, Public Enemy, and The Smiths.
Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, The Cars, AC/DC, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy, SRV, Janis Joplin
The Black Eyed Peas, SRV, Floyd, RAtM
has anyone said SInatra yet? you can't forget ol'blue eyes....
*sigh*...Sinatra. Allthough I love metal, He gets me everytime.
ALL TIME: Black sabbath, AC/DC, Judas preist, Guns 'N' Roses, Metallica, Kiss, Rage against the machine, motely crue.
The greatest band of all time. Is Morris Day and the TIME. 80's style.
I can't believe i forgot that one.
My first rock and roll exposure was Led Zeppelin's first album. Then ZZ Top's early blues stuff when they still rocked (Fandango, Tejas, Rio Grande Mud). Then came Lynyrd Skynyrd and Nazareth ("Hair of the Dog"). Oh, and then along came Van Halen. Eddie's fretboard gymnastics blew me away! (I am a pretty decent rhythm guitarist to this day, thanks to those guys).
As I've mellowed and matured, I am re-appreciating Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, The Cars, The Doors, CCR, Ray Charles... well, you get the picture. Believe it nor not, I also love Willie Nelson for his soulful and thoughtful lyrics. Met him twice. Smoothest hands! Very gentle and shy. I love that guy. Used to imitate him as a teenager.
I really appreciate this kind of thread since it tells me a lot about the people I'm learning to love.
Rock on, you guys! (Raises lighter... "Freebird!")
The Time? You mean the guys in that Prince movie?
Man I hated that movie. Musicians should stop trying to act, and actors should not try to be musicians. Unless it's Vanilla Ice, he was totally wizard in "Cool as Ice".
ICE ICE BABY!!!
"Do dododo dodo dodo do dododo dodo dodo"
oh that reminds me... Queen! Now that is a great band!
Unfortunately, I can't listen to Under Pressure without being reminded of that insipid vanilla man.
Don't be dogging on Purple Rain Matt! I have seen you in your purple prince trench coat around town, don't hate.
And yes Morris day and the time Rocks!!! "do you want to know me oooh me!"
