Love the Victory Celebration. Especially that great edit where the drums stop and the twins embrace.

    Star Wars
    1. Improved Lightsaber Effects
    2. Improved X-Wing Effects

    The Empire Strikes Back
    1. Fixed Snowspeeder Effects

That's it, really. I am a stickler for keeping all 6 films the way they originally were (especially the OT).

Firstly, I love the Blu-ray edition of Empire Strikes Back, completely, every change and alteration I fully support and adore. It is the film that truly benefitted the most from the additions. It made a perfect film, well, better. I also loved all the changes and additions in The Phantom Menace, again, it improved the film, and Yoda was finally corrected. Honestly, however small, what additions there was in the prequels just enhanced them further. I still wanted more, but alas.

In A New Hope, every scene with Biggs Darklighter, I am so pleased to see him implemented back into the saga. Return of the Jedi; I love the new celebration, the additions to the Rancor pit, and even Hayden as Anakin. That felt so right, and further cemented the connections to the prequels. It felt approriate that Anakin, upon becoming one with the Force, was restored to the man he was before the accident and his fall to the darkside. It was so fitting.

I'm thinking about it... and the only change I can honestly say I *don't* like is the Han/Greedo shootout - and ONLY because it gets everybody's panties in a bunch. Although I recently re-watched the RotJ bluray and I was stunned by how much better the Ewoks' eyes look. They blink, they look around, there's a whole new life to them now. In fact I think Return of the Jedi is the most improved by its changes in general.

Vader: "Now, go my son... leave me..."
Luke: "No, I can't leave you here, I got to save you!"
Me: What's with Darth Vader's eyebrows?

Definitely Victory Celebration over Yub Nub. Even as a kid, I felt that ROTJ's ending was anticlimactic. "We just destroyed the Empire. Let's light a bonfire!" Victory Celebration gives us a chance to see the galaxy at large, and Williams' music is beautiful.
