What are your favorite morals from the show? The little blue saying that appears at the beginning of every episode. Here's my favorites

"Choose what is right, not what is easy"
"The future has many paths - choose wisley"
    "The young are often underestimated"
    "Without honor, victory is hollow"
"You must trust in others or success is impossible"
    "Morality seperates heroes from villains"
"When we rescue others, we rescue ourselves"
"Believe in yourself or no one else will"
"It is the quest for honor that makes one honorable"
"Ignore your instincts at your own peril"
"who we are never changes, who we think we are does"
"The path to evil may bring great power, but not loyalty"
"He who faces himself, finds himself"
"Without hope there is no life"
"He seeks to control fate will never find peace"
"Where theyres a will theyres a way"
"The wise man leads, the strong man follows"
"When all hope seems lost a true hero gives hope"
"A soldiers most powerful weapon is courage"
"Brothers in arms are brothers for life"
"Great Leaders inspire greatness in others"
"A great student is what the teacher hopes to be"
    "Our actions define our legacy"
"A child stolen is a hope lost"
"Who my father was matters less than my memory of him"
"The best confidence builder is experience"
"Trust in your friends and theyll have a reason to trust in you"
"You hold onto your friends by keeping your heart a little softer than your head"
"The winding path to peace is always a worth one, regardless of how many turns it takes"
"Fail with honor rather than succeed by fraud"
"For everything you gain, you lose something"
"If you ignore your past you jeopardize your future"
"A Wise leader knows when to follow"
"Courage makes heroes, but trust builds friendship"
"A fallen enemy may rise again, but the reconciled one is truly vanquished"

OP, you kind of immediately destroyed this thread by picking every fortune cookie. :p

Anyway, I go with "Revenge is a confession of pain." because revenge is such a key concept to the conflicts in the Star Wars universe. This fortune cookie goes to show how the villains are more multi-faceted than they might first appear.

pshhh... I picked 35 out of like 105 or however many episodes there are....

If I had to pick one, I'd go with the first one i listed

"Choose what is right, not what is easy"

Thats mine too! I'm glad they didn't use the dumb EU! It's not even real Star Wars!

    Um....TCW is EU.

EU refers to any star wars material that isn't the 6 films.

I don't understand this mentality of some, that think the "EU" just refers to the star wars books, comics, and video games.

And if the EU isn't real star wars, then neither is TCW. Which then means, the only real star wars are the films.

Hmmm. Well I consider anything made by George Lucas to be the true Star Wars. Which would be the movies, certain games, and this show :)

    The rest... not a fan

    Define "real Star Wars".

You should also know that without the Thrawn Trilogy, there's a very real chance that the original three films is all you would have had (well, and the Ewok/Droid cartoons).

So you won't like the sequel trilogy and spin-off films?

What about when Lucas dies? Does Star Wars go with him? What about the things in the films that didn't come from Lucas?

I don't care that you don't like the EU, just that your reasoning for doing so is flawed, and I feel compelled to point that out.

No, I probably wont. Not in the same sense that I like E1-6, the games, and TCW. I mean I like the comics and novels, but not anywhere near the same degree as GL's Star Wars.

Not necessarily. Not if its left in capable hands. Dave Filoni for instance I defiantly trust with the series. Idk about anyone else....

Also, Geore Lucas will always be with us as a force ghost. So we will always have GL Star Wars :)

@CaptainRex115 As long as your opinion makes sense, I'm not allowed to attack you. So you'll live... for now.

I love the Maker too. After all, he's the frakkin' Maker. Only thing is he made Phantom Menace. 2 hours of proof that he can truly misunderstand what makes good entertainment.

    ...

I can see there's not going to be common ground here. :p

I'm pulling the "agree to disagree" card of safety. Still, it's comforting to know there are people with the exact opposite opinions than myself. Keeps you humble.

I don't really care if people like the EU or not, there's plenty of it I could live without, including the Thrawn trilogy. But the "real Star Wars" card needs to go in the same direction as the "real fan" card-- into the garbage chute, flyboy.

The fortune cookies should just start using George Carlin quotes with the bad words.
