I love Grievous. I always thought he looked more bulky in TCW than in ROTS though.

I think thats because of the animation.

Yeah, he looked more slender and deadly in ROTS, especially after he took his cape off. It felt more inhuman.

I wonder why they made him look more bulky in animation.

I think they added some shoulder pads, but I'm not sure.

Edit: Nah, I checked, they were in ROTS as well. It's his waist, it's much more flared in TCW, in ROTS it's straighter and it makes Grievous look thinner.

Shame that was never fully animated. The weirdest difference I noticed between film and TCW was on Grievous's mouth. In ROTS he has 4 lines, but in TCW he only has 3. You're right that they changed it though: he had 4 again in the Crystal arc.

Count me in the "I love Grievous most out of all major villains of Saga" crowd. ;)

It does apppear that Grievous would have gotten a major update in the final arcs that almost got produced. I mean he is in all of them. His model does not look anything like what they used in early season animatics.
This is from Season One and since then the model of Grievous never really changed.

It was gonna be different and epic. Filoni did say he would get his kicks in a post around the time of Season 4. He kinda did in the Son of Dathomir arc and the Utapau arc - arcs that had him be really menacing.

Here is how Filoni pronounced it due my posts about Tikkes that Filoni might have seen.

If I have to choose from the names on this list, I would have to say Asajj. However, I wouldn't define her as a villain. As far as villains go, I can't decide between Darth Maul, Pre Vizsla, or Cad Bane. They're all ruthless, appalling guys who do appalling things, but it's like this youth director once said. If you give a person a list of persons or ideas, we tend to look down on the most negative things on that list. I do appreciate how nuanced the Clone Wars creators made Maul, given how Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter was not only the first Star Wars novel I read, but the first novel I read on my own. Sam Witwer says it the best here. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2013/01/15/star-wars-clone-wars-darth-maul-sam-witwer/1837519/

Ventress! Though she's probably my favourite TCW period character of all. Bane was fun but as mentioned did seem to generate a spontaneous idiocy field that affected Jedi particularly badly, Hondo (if he counts as a villain was great fun but didn't do a lot, Savage WOULD (or at least could) have been great but Maul took over that whole plot mess. On which note, Maul should have stayed dead. Give his death as motivation to Savage, perhaps spin it a little longer than people think Savage is the resurrected Maul instead of actually bringing the Bisected Buffoon back from death. But I know I am in a minority there.

Aurra Sing was a cool character, disney should do more with her, not in Rebels, but maybe her own animated film.

For the overall series of 121 episodes. I would have to say Count Dooku and Ventress. Maul doesnt have enough episodes for me to consider him.

But that is not Maul's fault. They cancelled at least two arcs about him already planned after season six: The Son of Dathomir -arc and the Ahsoka-Mandalore-arc. :(
