This poll seems like it is copying Campbell's, but I would like to say that I brought this up at the meeting, both Stefanie and Melanie can confirm this!

    Stomach hurts.

Heck, the very fact that I even made a poll was copying off of yours. And I dig auteur conversations, anyhow.

Surprisingly, I just had more than my share of Krispy Kreme Hot Fresh Now donuts and my stomach still doesn't hurt.

I chose Blue Velvet, but would have chosen Twin Peaks (the show) had it been listed. TP is by far my favorite work by Lynch. Blue Velvet seemed to be on the same track, but nothing's come close to the first season of Who Killed Laura Palmer.

I liked the Straight Story and Elephant Man quite a lot as well. -Campbell

Only FIVE votes? Out of the "countless" people in this forum, only five of us have been honored enough to view a film by one of the modern day masters, David Lynch?

My Arnold post had more responses!

I am not to surprised- he is sorta Avant Garde, somewhat in the vein of Kubrick.
