CT Favorite Droids?

    Anyone have any favorite droids from the OT? I like this little guy from ANH he always reminded me of a white chocolate Hershey kiss lol

    I like the gonk droids and the mouse droids. From the PT I really like the Tri-droids.

    Any droid is a cool droid imo. But i'm particularly fond of the black imperial astromechs.

    R2 and 3PO for me. I love Han's banter with 3PO in TESB, and how they all want to repair him. R2 is great whenever featured. He's so reliable and heroic! :)

    2-1B since it saved Luke twice. Once after he got attacked by the Wampa and after Darth Vader cut off his hand,

    Obviously I'm a big fan of the two main droids, and I like all of the others - the "battered" condition of many of the robots in the OT was quite different than previous Sci-fi films/TV series.

    My specific favorites would have to be:

    R5-D4
    D.S. Droid - both versions (silver on the sandcrawler, black on the D.S.)
    White C3-PO unit on Hoth
    Silver C3-PO unit on the Rebel Blockade Runner (beginning of ANH)
    EV-9D9
    8D8
    Power Droid(s)
    Various R2 units in the X-wing fighters (ANH & ROTJ)

    Besides the obvious ones, EV-9D9.

    The fact she enjoys torturing other droids makes her pretty messed up and creepy.

    I've always said R2D2 is my favorite droid (or robot) in any movie, book, etc...so he is obviously my favorite droid from the OT. I gotta say though, BB8 is trying to take the crown from R2....

    All of them, i love all of them.

    From R2 and C-3PO to 8D8 and EV-9D9, droids are great.

    In general, I love astromechs, especially R4 droids, with R5s a close second.

    Specific characters, though, would be the big two, Artoo and Threepio.

    I love the Imperial probe droids - their appearance and the sounds they make.

    Also love IG-88. His appearance in the Shadows of the Empire game was a factor in this, too.
