Battle of Badon Hill from King Arthur (2004).

It is a bit graphic, just a heads up.

    Series of fights -
    Arthur's Knights/Merlin's Followers vs. Saxons
    Lancelot vs. Cynric of Wessex
    Tristan vs. Cedric of Wessex
    Arthur vs. Cedric of Wessex

Some good choices and a few I had on a list. I'm watching so many great old school fights these days, I have many favorites

but this one reawoke my enjoyment of old school Kung Fu...

It's over the top in all the right ways. And not too bloody until late in...

I'll try and name stuff that hasn't been mentioned.

    A fist fight:

A sword fight (alright, one has a spear. Shut it):

    A gun fight:

I don't know, plot aside, that was a pretty good fight.

I can't find a good copy of it on the web, but a good candidate for the most brutal movie fight would be Lee Marvin vs. Ernest Borgnine at the end of "Emperor of the North". It's a great scene, but it's tough to watch.

Since everybody's talking about The Raid but nobody's posted anything, here's something that isn't even either hallway fight:

I've seen that movie. Ernest Borgnine is a railroad bull in the 1930s who ruthlessly kills hobos hitching rides on his train, and Lee Marvin is the one hobo who dares to ride on his train, live and walk away to tell the tale. Let's just say, it's a movie you don't want to watch if you're squeamish about people getting hurt with hammers or getting run over by trains.

The whole thing is fun to watch but the wizard duel ending begins at the 15 minute mark:

    Same thing but 17 minutes:

    And speaking of wizard duels:

Well because I just keep watching these over and over.

The completely OTT choreography Lu Feng created for Leung Kar Yan from Shanghai 13 Pt. 1

and the more serious battle against a very young Andy Lau Shanghai 13 Pt. 2 (which cuts right before the end.)

Brave Archer 3 end fight (so much great here, esp. Lo Meng and his mantis and Sun Chien's excellent use of the fan as a weapon):

Not the entire fight, but still good.

    Also, not the entire fight.

A fan re-edit combining both versions of this fight.

    And speaking of "The Raid"...

And this great clip from "Jackie Chan's Who Am I?"
