Favorite Firefly/Serenity character?

I've gotta go with River.

I know she's liable to go psycho on you and knock your brains out but I've always liked her the best. Pretty, agile, gets to the point, sees through things, isn't afraid of no one, etc. She's my favorite hands down...and like Simon I'd protect her with my life.

I'd have to go with Capt. Mal Reynolds. Not because he's hot...but because he was a fine leader even though it was really hard to make some decisions but he pulled through it and was excellent.

 

Mal, he's fine, makes me laugh, and is a great leader.

 

River does have a certain something about her.

 

Kaylee got my vote.

All of the above. IMHO, each of these characters won't be as great without the other eight.

I've only seen the movie though, so it wasn't really long enough to get to know all the characters properly. Mal was just the stand out!

Mal is super-cool, but I have to go with Kaly because, well, I'm in love with her.

Had to go with Wash... does no one like Wash, or is it too hard for everybody to choose a favorite character? LOL, I know it is for me.
