Battlefield 1942 (although even with a cable modem it takes a couple of minutes to settle at a good framerate)

It has to be seen to be believed. The main flaw I've found is that the single player can really kill your framerate because of the need to have 24-32 bots to really enjoy the game. Therefore it is essential to get online to play it. Awesome game because each class is so balanced and suits each map so well.

The Star Wars mods looks wicked as well.

Halo would be there if i could walk without pointing downwards

Er...you can walk w/o pointing downwards. Just leave the right thumbstick alone if not shooting anyone. You can also set up the game so that your view is centered no matter what.

Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon aren't the same game by far. The command interface for GR is far simpler than any of the old R6 games (though I'm not sure if it has changed for better or worse on Raven Shield). And GR has always been considered as "the Outdoors Rainbow Six". Not exactly a very fair description, since both warrior teams are quite different: Ghost Recon's Army/Special Forces, while Rainbow is more of a counter-terrorist force.

I'd say JO but the FPS bits aren't great-the saber makes the game so good. Nightfire is great. Goldeneye was amazing 4 the time but it's a little aged now

This may be a little off-topic, but I bought a bundle of all the PC Rainbow Six titles I didn't have awhile back and for some reason I can't install them or even run them now. And I'm not even using Windows XP, but rather the so-so Me. Anyone got a clue if these games aren't WinMe compatible?

    1) GoldenEye 007 (Pure Genius... Facility anyone?) ;)

I'll take you up on that offer... provided we play with Remote Mines. :)

I'm also partial to Doom II, Quake II, and Half Life.
