The Holy Roman Empire... wasn't holy, Roman, or an Empire

I thought Alexander the Great led the Greek Empire?

Alexander the Great was very definitely Macedonian, not Greek. The Macedonians defeated the Greeks first, then everyone else east of them.

Other: My Favorite is the Egyptian Empire. The Pharaohs, Pyramids, Mummification, all of that stuff. I love Egypt.

 

Rome, Egyptian, British...are all interesting.

What? No Babylonian or Medo/Persian? They were arguably(while not the most powerful) the grandest of the ancient empires!
