Favorite image from the first TPM trailer?

Think back to late 1998, when the first new SW footage in way over a decade hit our eyes. What was the one image that struck you hardest, and how do you feel about it now?

The image that sticks in my mind is of those droid tanks slowly hovering over the hill before the Naboo battle, ah it takes me back. Still love that scene!

Cmon, This is easy its Maul lighting up the other side of his saber, no true Star Wars fan would forget that image

 

I can't forget the first time I saw the Lucasfilm LTD logo pop up... It gave me chills, But My most Memorable scene from teh trailer is one of the last scenes right before Sidious says "Wipe them out.. All of them..." and right before that I saw Maul's Evil Face and I knew he was going to be awesome.

 

I agree with you all...the tanks, sids saying "wipe them out...", and Maul saying "at last we will have revenge." All Awesome.

 

It's hard to top Maul igniting his saber.

 

Yeah pretty much any shot with a ligtsaber told me "star wars is back, baby, get ready to be pwned" but not in geek language.

Mine is Obi-Wan spinning his saber in that closeup. Ewan McGregor may not look anything like a young Alec Guiness, but he sure looked like a young Ben Kenobi!

 

I can't remember if this was in the first trailer or not, but I kind of liked seeing the Gungans walking through the swamp. The mist made it look very cool.
