With the polling mistake in the other thread, thought I'd redo the topic correctly. My favorite hilts are currently Anakin's lightsaber from ROTS, and Obi-Wan's lightsaber from TPM. Both are very nice, well-done hilts, and have a unique and interesting design to them.

    Definitly Anakin (ROTS/ANH).

It's the first lightsaber I ever saw and it was glorious!

I like Mace's saber the best out of the film lightsabers. Sleek and nice design. Obi Wan always has nice sabers too. Tenel Ka's rancor tooth saber, Tyvokka's curved wooden handled blade, and Gungi's lightsaber are nice too.

I can't pick a favourite, they've all got their signature look.

That said it must have been a very difficult moment for Ewan McGregor when he got to choose his out of a box of Lightsaber hilts during the production of TPM.

Liam Neeson, Sam Jackson and Nick Gillard got to choose theirs as well (and keep them after the films were over). There is no record of Hayden, but I'm sure they offered his hilt as well. They did it to Christopher Lee too.

    I LOVE this topic.

I have been so insanely obsessed with lightsabers since first seeing them in the movies. I'll sometimes draw hilts just to pass time.

I voted Dooku. It's design is totally different and is really cool. It's design also has a great story behind it. If you've read the Bane trilogy you know all about it.

I was always fascinated by Dooku's curved hilt design. I also like Vader's design.

Palpatine's (the first one). The most beautiful handle in the galaxy!
It has a red blade, though. I'm not overly fond of that combo.

I voted for both Dooku's and Obi-Wan's last one. Dooku's is just drop-dead gorgeous.

Obi-Wan's is iconic. The first lightsaber we see in action. And then that gut-wrenching moment where it falls onto his empty robes after he lifts it in greeting death like an old friend.

I have difficulty considering a weapon as a thing of beauty but detail-wise I like Dooku's.

Mace Windu's. Not because of the purple blade, even though it's cool, but because it is sleek and smooth, with no sharp edges to dig into your hands when you're wielding it.

Idk how Bane curved hilt isn't on this. A lot of sith have followed that pattern of a curved hilt, Sidious Dooku etc

Even though we're only discussing the movies, I still had to be true to myself and vote other. But close runners up are Qui-Gon, Dooku, and Luke's from ROTJ.
