Favorite non-SFF reading?

Patricia Cornwell is one of my absolutely favorite authors. Once I decided I wanted to be a forensic pathologist, my mother suggested I read her books, becuase they're about one. And I was instantly hooked. She's what got me into Mystery/Thriller....

 

I read a lot of myster/thriller books.

But I could have just as well voted for other since classics take up a big percentage of my leisure reading time.

 

dark angry teen stuff. not the "Mates, Dates and inflatable bras" crap, but "Speak" and stuff thats all dark and would give normal people nightmares.

 

Other: Relgious/Spiritual

 

Outside of fantasy and sci-fi, my favorite kind of reading is informational volumes about the things I love. "Making of" books, "the history of" and so on.
