Probably the ridiculous Imperial Battlecruisers from Warhammer 40,000 for looking like a cathedral built on top of a space locomotive.

    Certainly is a striking design.

That's a Battlefleet Gothic image, no?

It is indeed - Battlefleet Gothic is the big spaceship battle game for the Warhammer 40k universe. The ship is big and goofy and ridiculous, which is exactly what 40k started as before it forget what a parody is.

Actually haven't seen it before, but it's cool looking.

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. There was a TV series version of it that ran from '79-81.

I also have a soft spot for not only the original Galactica, but also the original Vipers and Cylon Raiders:

Damn it. I kind of want to change my answer to Thunderbird 5. But Galactica...

Quite liked this take on the Heart of Gold, even if it's nothing like how the books described it. The TV series had a nice look to it, as well.

He also doesn't read the George RR Martin books, preferring to watch the show. Some people have zero taste; what can you do?

Not watch Firefly and keep that taste from dipping below zero.

Meh, I watched Firefly till the end. The novelty wears off quick. Only 14 episodes, and yet it started to feel samey toward the final episodes. Serenity was even worse. The pilot episode was good, though.

I kind of liked Firefly. The acting and writing was fairly decent but I had a few problems with the basic premise that I could never really get past.

I was thinking of posting this. Looking upon it and old saying comes to mind though. 90% of everything sucks.

Anyone else notice the spelling error in the poll?

Whenever I see missing vowels I just assume that's how Americans spell.

In other news, I had a massive crush on Wilma Deering from Buck Rogers when I was a kid. I mean, forced to choose between her and Debbie Harry, I'd have chosen Debbie. I'd imagine she's aged better though.

Just about the only thing I liked about the Lost In Space flick.
