    Curse of the Black Pearl was the first and definitely best.

    Curse of the Black Pearl was the best by far. Dead Man's Chest was good up until the last 10 minutes, and despite At World's End fantastic title, the film was a total waste!

    Sadly, I was unable to see AWE when it was in theaters, so I can only base it on two. I'd definitely go with the first one, but I really did like DMC despite many others saying they didn't.

    It's pretty hard not to vote for this film. But I am most definitely a Pirates film. I love all three. But CotBP was what brought it to the screens so magically. Plus it contains Barbossa (as the bad guy, unlike AWE): the one real Caribbean pirate that simply kicks butt.

    Curse of the Black Pearl. I enjoyed them all to one degree or another, but the other two almost seem to be set on a different world from the first. The first one is actually fun, rather than needlessly convoluted.

    The first.

    As for the others: The second one was okay, but I have never seen such an over-hyped movie as the third one.

    Finally got around to seeing the third one.

    Curse of the Black Pearl is still my fave, while AWE comes in second and DMC third.

    Dead Man's Chest is my favorite; it was just fun! Saw it several times in theaters and it never got old. :D

    At World's End followed closely by Curse of the Black Pearl. DMC was my least favorite of the series and is ranked third on my list.
