Even the Sun Crusher is a more imaginitive concept than clone Palpatine.
There's nothing adventurous at all about masquerading as space pirates led in combat by a small bear to take down a warlord.
That's run of the mill. We've all read that story dozens of times.
Entertain me, Star Wars. Don't give me this generic stuff.
I'm so confused
I think there was an Ewok reference in there?
Ewok references FTW! Don't care what anyone else says. Allston makes the Ewok references work. The EU would have been a lesser place without those.
caravan of courage or battle for endor
Yub, yub, Commander!
That whole screening process chapter in Wraith Squadron is awesome!
It's all in the execution, mate.
I'm a big fan of Luuke Skywalker though
Which was dumb.
The Sun Crusher... which nobody knew how to deal with despite having it in the lab for months. Apparently removing the controls, circuitry and everything else that wasn´t the indestructible frame paneling was beyond the NR best scientists. Not to mention shooting all projectiles into a no inhabited system.
Sigh. KJA was really bad.
Black Fleet Crisis it is for me.
well, not all clone usage can be like Luuke
Luuke was a convenient plot device so that Mara could kill Luke and move on. Which was what annoyed me really about her arc. It wasn´t about coming to terms with having fought for the wrong side but about letting go of a past lost. But pretending Palpatine´s personal assassin couldn´t see what the Empire was like made her the biggest idiot until Darth Stupid came around. Did she buy the rebels had stolen a mining station and used it to blow Alderaan?
not curious at all. jacen was a intriguing read. DN sucked because they went backwards and undid what TUF accomplished. FOTJ brought back a planet of sith destroying Luke's legacy ,and for some violating the chosen one's sacrifice. LOTF was intriguing reading, because of Jacen Solo. It is the least objectionable series of the three to me. I actually liked some of FOTJ too, but Betrayal, if nothing else was better than any FOTJ novel
A planet of Sith destroys Luke's legacy JediMatteus? Really?
The Sith on that planet had been missing for how many thousands of years?
Haven't all of the Jedi who survived Order 66 be more damaging to Palpatine's legacy?
And if we get a whole planet full of Jedi?
Thrawn and X-Wing.
I got far into NJO, but eventually stopped.
What? You stopped before the end?
what if someone read the NJO and stopped at Dark Journey
that would be tragic
That it would. You need a reason. A good reason.
Because not everyone thinks that the NJO is the greatest thing ever.
come at me bro
He said eventually stopped. We need more details than that.
Do find it funny how NJO seems to be perceived as this:
And any dislike of it is akin to kicking it!
Of course, those same fans have likely been curb-stomping that cute and totally defenceless LOTF and FOTJ cats, they've egged DN too! Bastards!
