Vote for your favorite on each "half" of the soundtrack. We'll have a combined poll in the near future with the most poplular of the tracks, and then a new overall LOTR favorite track poll.

Okay, I listened to all those tracks again now, paying close attention to what I like best and concluded it would be the still-vote-less A Storm is Coming
The others have cool bits and pieces, and Minas Morgul is a close second, but Storm gets my vote

Minas Tirith, closely followed by A Storm is Coming and The White Tree.

    This is like Sophie's Choice.

I had to choose Minas Tirith though, just for my love of the Gondor theme.

I chose Minas Tirith because the Gondor theme is simply my favorite theme in the whole trilogy.

The White Tree is my favorite. I just love the music as the beacons are being lit!

The White Tree is good so is the Steward of Gondor, but my vote had to go with Minas Tirith.

I voted for 'The Steward of Gondor'. I love Pippin's song, and the version of the Gondor theme in that track was superb.

It definitely had to be "The Steward of Gondor" - Pippin's song is the musical highlight of the film, and only the Fellowship theme from FotR, "The Bridge of Khazzad-dhum" (sp.), and "Gollum's Song" can compete with it in terms of the trilogy.

The reason that I didn't vote for The Steward of Gondor is that the track, especially Pippen's song, is a much better track to listen to while watching it within the context of the film than it is a straight listen off of a CD.

The White Tree is the best track on the album IMO. It is also my favorite part of the film, with the lighting of the beacons. Gives me chills every time I hear it or see it in the film.

Anything with the Gondor theme, especially with lots of brass.

My favorites aren't there. I prefer Shelob's Lair, The End of All Things, The Black Gate Opens, Grey Havens, and Into the West. :) But with what there is, I'll go with The White Tree.

Are we ready for a single ROTK favorite thread?

Or maybe an overall LOTR favorite thread?
