Favorite ROTK track (Part II)

Vote for your favorite on each "half" of the soundtrack. We'll have a combined poll in the near future with the most poplular of the tracks, and then a new overall LOTR favorite track poll.

The Return of the King.

 

I need to listen more to this half of the soundtrack (plus I think I'm gonna see the film again tomorrow). I'm leaning towards "The Fields Of Pelennor" or "The End Of All Things".

*sigh* The Return of the King
by a very small bit, mostly because of its length. Shelob's Lair and The Black Gate Opens are really close, though.

Hmm, very difficult. I'll go with The End of All Things, just ahead of Shelob's Lair and Ash and Smoke.

 

i just saw the movie, so i don't know any of the titles, but i personally liked those few cues with the violin as the prominent sound

 

This is like Sophie's Choice 2.

I have to pick The Return of the King,just because it has every theme I love in it.

 

The Return of the King. Solid emotion all through a ten minute amazing cue. This is the Breaking of the Fellowship for ROTK...

 

I love the Shelob's Lair music, but I ahd to vote for Return of the King because it encompasses just about every theme in the movies and helps bring the movie's ending full circle

 

Arghh! I can't decide between 'Return of the King' or 'Into the West'

 

Complicating. I'm going to vote for Return of the King. I love the way the different themes that were used in LotR, are mixed in that track, plus Viggo's song is on it.

Into the West, The Black Gate Opens, and then The Fields of Pellenor closely follow.

The Black Gate Opens. It follows the struggle up Mount Doom, and tops with the Into the West theme. Good stuff.

 

The Grey Havens. It´s beautiful! When the Into the West-theme plays and Frodo looks back on his friends and smiles.... It´s so sad!

It´s my favorite track in the whole movie, BTW.

 

The End of All Things.

 

Tough choice, but I have to go with the Black Gate Opens.

"The Return Of The King" - You get a finish to everything and they blended Aragorn's singing bit quite well.

Black Gate. Best Fellowship Theme cue EVER.

Except, perhaps, the one where they charge the armies of Mordor, which most unfortunately was not included on the CD.
