A New hope Favorite scene: When an Imperial officer confronts vader about how cool the death star is and insults vader and Vader force chokes him buy saying " I find your lack of fate disturbing" Worst scene When luke calls the droid that the Stormtroopers are looking for Robots and the other one is when greedo shot first in the special editon. ESB Favorite scene Vader says to luke I am your Father. Worst scene. When Luke Yells Noooooooooo silmlar to Vader yelling Nooooooooo Return of the jedi. Favorite scene. When Vader ask the emperor "What is thy Bidding, my master, He also says it in the empire strikes back. Worst scene, When obi-wan had bad script writting by Saying From a certian point of view. instead of telling him the truth right there! In fact in the Return of the jedi novel tells luke how his Father got the machine suit and try to turn vader back to the lightside of the force many times. That should of been told in Return of the jedi and said in the dioalgue of Revenge of the Sith when Anakin and Obi-wan where dueling. Anyways whats your favorite and worse scenes in the classics?
Best: ANH - Pretty much every scene involving Solo in the Death Star ESB - Vader accepting Capt. Needa's apology. ROTJ - Everything Sideous Worst: ANH - Family life at the Skywalker ranch... Luke whining about picking up power converters etc ESB - This film is flawless ROTJ - The scene with the bint going on about dead Bothans
Best ANH - Two moon sunset ESB - Carbon freeze ROTJ - Sarlacc pit Worst: ANH - CGI Jabba ESB -....................... ROTJ - 'You rebel scum'
Best: ANH- Either Binary Sunset or "I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you." "You're who?" ESB- The beginning of the duel. The lighting is great, with Vader igniting his saber while in silhouette. "You're not a Jedi yet" Then Vader simply knocks Luke off his feet. ROTJ- The return of the Jedi aka Anakin throwing Palpy down the shaft. Worst: ANH:Greedo fires first. ESB: Changing "Bring my shuttle" to "Alert my ship to prepare for my arrival" or whatever it is Vader now says. ROTJ: Fett's death. I'm not upset that he died, I just wish it would have not been so silly.
Fave: Hoth, Tatooine, ESB Falcon scenes, Luke Daghoba. Least: Prob the Endor scenes. The pacing of those scenes was slow at times, more so than the Death Star scenes in EP IV. I'm not saying they were bad scenes because It was hard enough for me to choose, so I just chose what first came to mind.
Best ANH - Death star attack - the whole scene is just PERFECT. ESB - "You have learned much young Skywalker..." Awesome. ROTJ - When Luke enters Jabba's palace looking like a real Jedi and uses the force to push the guards away and mind trick Bib Fortuna. Worst ANH - There's nothing bad in this film. The worst bit is when it ends. ESB - "You like me because I'm a scoundrel..." ROTJ - Ewoks defeating Stormtroopers with sticks and stones. Ridiculous.
Best: ANH - hard to pick, will go with the cantina and the trench run ESB - Dagobah (the do not try sequence) and Luke on the Cloud City ROTJ - Vader meeting Luke on Endor. It's just so tense (and of course the subsequent scenes with the Emperor. Pretty much the only reason I watch ROTJ). Worst: ANH - special editions Greedo and Jabba TESB - Wampa, some of Han & Leia dialogue until the Cloud City ROTJ - Endor after the speeder bike chase. During my last saga marathon, those were harder to sit through than anything in the prequels.
ANH: Best: Pretty much anything Han-related, especially "You're all clear, kid, now let's blow this thing and go home." Worst: Alderaan blowing up. ESB: Best: "I like nice men." "I am nice men." Worst: Luke losing his hand. ROTJ: Best (also the best out of the entire trilogy): Vader picking up Palpatine and chucking him down the reactor core, and the entire scene that followed. "Luke, help me take this mask off." "You were right about me, tell your sister, you were right." Worst: Jabba the Hutt slobbering on Leia. Of course the novelization was worse than the film there.
