Dooku's Solar Sailer. Strikes me as an extension of the man himself somehow (because it's elegant, maybe? not sure).

The B-Wing fighters (I think the engineers got drunk before they drew up the plans for these).

A lot of the Confederate ships (I don't know their names, but they are all cool and weird).

It's really a toss up for me. Either the X-Wing or Darth Vaders Tie-fighter.

You're swaying, me, grungebunny. You're swaying me.

    Well said! Well said, indeed!

If the MF is my first-favourite, those sleek Nubians are a close-second. :)

Three cheers for George Lucas and the Nubian Design Collective!

Damn, this is hard. I'm gonna have to go with the X-wing and Super Star Destroyer.

Silly question. Millenium Falcon without a doubt. It's the only ship in the saga that has a story to it.

It's hard to pass up the Falcon, but I like the Death Stars better.

To me, no ship better embodies the aesthetics of a "used-future" better than Padme's J-type star skiff from Revenge of the Sith.

The Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor from the same film also do a good job at incorporating all the best design qualities of other ships from previous movies in the franchise.

Definitely the Falcon and Slave I. Both are so unique.

My personal favourite was always the A-Wing, or the "boosters with a cockpit strapped on" as it was referred to once by someone I can't recall. I also loved the TIE interceptor, I guess I just love the small fast & agile combination.

A special mention goes to the Jedi Starfighter in ROTS, particularly the way you could see that it was a forerunner to the TIE craft because of the structure of the cockpit.

It was my favourite too when I was a kid, until I realized it had no droid. I still like the design, and is probably my favourite from the OT. I also never liked the Y-Wing because it always felt "under construction".

Of the prequels I would have to go with the ARC-170, maybe just because I played so much Battlefront II and that was my ship of choice, but I've always like the white and red color scheme and the split wings.

On the originals side, I'm going to say the B-wing, it's unorthodox design catches the eye and makes it one of the more unique ships in the OT.

    In this order:

    1. Slave 1 - such a badass starship - how could you not love it?

    2. Millennium Falcon - a classic!

    3. Tie Fighters - their design and sounds are bliss.

    4. N-1 Starfighter (The Naboo ship from TPM) - the pinnacle of beauty.

Original trilogy=Vader's Super Star Destroyer. It's big and very cool looking. Shame it was destroyed by a tiny A-wing. Prequel trilogy=ARC-170 fighters in ROTS. Reminicent to the X-wing, yet totally different.

When the Imperial Star Destroyer first flies over the screen in Episode IV, that did it for me. I fully support the Rebellion and reject the Empire, but the ImpStar is just the coolest space ship ever, as far as I'm concerned.

After that, I'd have to go with the Y-Wing. Strange choice, but I've always liked the way it looked.

It's a tie between Slave 1 and Dooku's ship. Very original and looks like nothing else in film. Hmmm edge to Slave 1

The Falcon is probably the best ship design in all of sci-fi. Even better than the Enterprise.

My favorite is the Executor. I always liked the pizza slice designs of the star destroyers, and Executor takes it to a new level. Its look, grandeur and power and visual design says it all
