This is the song that started my Les Mis obsession. The cutest little girl was belting it out on tv and I was amazed. Then I read the book (and it is LONG), went out and saw the musical with my best friend (and we bawled during it), bought the soundtrack. Ah. good stuff.

Ok Voidy Chan, this one's for you. Being the fellow Disney freak that you are.
On my special edition soundtrack the composers talk about how this was Walt's favorite song. He would invite them to come to his office on Fridays after work to talk about things happening at the studio, and he would ask them "play it" while he stared out the window and he would tear up. wow. sniff. That's WHY Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. That's what Disney magic is all about. The man who created it was like no other. sigh.

it is a good song. i've always loved that song.

Here's a song that hearing it again, reminded me of a relationship with a friend of mine. We were best friends for 5 years, and about three months ago he moved for a job. I haven't heard anything from him since, although I've tried to call. The chorus is the only thing I compare our relationship to. The rest of the song is a different kind of relationship than we had. I'm putting this up, because I just saw this band in concert, and it made me think of him. Also, I really like this song.

anyway, here are a couple of songs I like to turn up the stereo to when i'm angry. The first is Reel Big Fish's "You Don't Know". I'm not sure what exactly is acceptable here, so I'll refrain from putting the words up. The second gets many people into a frenzy by just three cords being played on a guitar. The third verse is the best, but I'll just put the song up as was originally done.
