    Sabacc

The most under-rated strategy and game mechanic in the entire CCG.

I don't really have a favorite per se, but I do like on the game text for the Cloud City dining room how Porkins deploys there for free. One of those things that you almost hate to laugh at but do.

Well, I'm partial to my droids, R2 and 3PO, but I'd have to say my one favorite card is Visored Vision. Best lore in the game....

"It's 15 parsecs to Kessel, we've replaced the negative power coupling, it's dark and we're wearing welding goggles. Hit it."

    :)

(And Red84, have you ever tried a Sabaac/Visored Vision combo? I have a lot of fun with that!)

It is hard to point out only ONE favorite card, except for the main characters of course.

But I think I would have to say: "HOW DID WE GET INTO THIS MESS?"

Honorable mention to "YOUR INSIGHTS SERVES YOU WELL/YOU CAN'T HIDE FOREVER". I hate inserts.

Well, when premiere was out, I liked Kitik Keed'kak just because every time after i got that card I spotted her in the background of ANH everytime i watched it and its odd to see a 9 foot praying mantis standing around (well, unless the movie is starship troopers...).

    Power Pivots are quite fun...

but Death Star ][ wins because it looks so damn cool!::)

    Although I liked Lieutenant Sheckil:

"Former warrant officer from Concord Dawn...Twin brother of a famous mercenary."

since the officier was played by Jeremy "Boba Fett" Bulloch

Two of my favorite lores have got to be Frozen Dinner (DS Effect from Hoth):

"Freeze dried and ready to serve, a tasty wholesome Rebel makes a nutrtious meal for the whole wampa clan. They're Gr-r-reat!"

    and

    Star Destroyer!:

"Leia's perception increased as she became more attuned to the Force. She attained the uncanny ability to spot (large) objects at long distances."

    ROTFLOL!!! :D

Mostly Armless: "One lesson learned in Jedi training is that when you have been injured, don't panic."

Slip Sliding Away: "Luke got the shaft"

Dash: "See Luke run. Run Luke, run!"

Dodge: "Normally, parents try to prevent thier children from falling down the stairs."

As you can see, Cloud City expansion had the funniest lore of the whole game.

I love Cloud City Sabbac! There's so many things that it does for you. First off it's a used destiny 3...not bad. Next you get to relieve the opponents Reserve decks of a minimum of 2, usually 4 or more, cards and then take one of those cards and either steal or send it to the lost pile. How cool is that?! Then to top it all off you can use your smuggler or Lando at the Casino to retrieve 2-3 cards from your lost pile....and then do it all again the next turn! God bless Sabacc.

    Spud

PS - It's good to be back. :)

I love Cloud City Sabacc too! That's why I mentioned Visored Vision above. After you've played Sabacc, if one of your opponent's Sabacc cards was an interrupt (happens a lot) play VV, name that interrupt, and opponent has to lose one more force ... two if you play it twice! Really annoys DS players....

You can also play VV whenever they play Dark Maneuvers or Omni Box or Twi'lek Advisor ... like I said, VV is my favorite card.

Love the art on Red Squadron 1 from DSII; would have loved to have seen those kill markers in ROTJ.

Cards based on eu characters; Thrawn, Karrde, Tycho, etc. One gripe - thought the Tycho Celchu card could have been better done, but at least they did it.

Ewok Log Jam is near to my favorite simply because of the WTF  face my friend had when I played it. I pulled Skywalkers as a successful battle destiny, then took it into my hand using ELJ for some major Luke/Leia beatdown on his poor lone character!

    The look was priceless :D

One of my favorite cards is Chewbacca, Protector. He is a god! He has saved my life so many times:

He stopped Jodo from using Hidden Weapons.
    He stopped 4-LOM
    He stopped Bane
He even stopped Commander Igar inside Tempest 1. :) The look on my opponent's face was priceless.

When combined with Qui-Gon and/or A Jedi's Focus, he can get just about any Dark Side alien.
