Favorite Star Wars theme

Anakin's Theme in TPM. One of the most beautiful melodies in all film music with that little twist at the end revealing the Imperial theme but in a major key. They way Williams modulates it to a soaring climax is really breathtaking.

 

Gotta go with the Force Theme. An incredible piece on its own but combined with the visual of the twin suns it's just a stunning moment and its really well used throughout the saga.

I went with the Force theme. But IMO it was hard-I really love several of those, but to me the Force theme is the most iconic and unique to SW.

 

I am outraged that Yoda's theme has NO votes!

 

You can't be all that outraged if you didn't vote for it.

 

Han and Leia's theme by far. Then the Imperial March.

 

Duel of the Fates, it's just so intense and sets the tone of the impending doom of the Prequel Trilogy. Seriously though, where's the love for Yoda's Theme?!

 

Well I voted for the Force theme, which IS my favorite. But Yoda's theme is up there for me and I am actually surprised no one has voted for it yet.

 

My new current favorite theme is now Jyn Erso/Hope suite.

 

Really, on polls like this it's often more informative to have voters choose their top three or five.

The prequels have the best SW music in my humble opinion, the most dramatic, the most moving and the most memorable and poignant.

 

Anakin’s Theme. Perfectly captures his tragic destiny.

 

So hard to choose!!!!!! Star Wars main theme is so iconic and excites me every time I hear it. The Force Theme is so dramatic and Leia's Theme can make me cry any day (especially thinking about Carrie Fisher). Rey's theme captures her personality perfectly and sound so triumphant, Duel of the Fates is epic and Across the Star is probably the most beautiful Star Wars song ever written. I love them all (And Imperial March. I just didn't have anything to say about it. It's very... rhythmic...? If that's a word...)

Han and Leia's theme from TESB. I especially love the new arrangement that John Williams sent out to conductors this year.

 

Yes the music at the end of ESB...the most beautiful music I have ever heard.

Luke and Leia's theme. When I first heard it in ROTJ and I thought it was underrated and no one really remembers it much as Han and Leia's theme or the Star Wars main theme. I was also surprised to hear it in TLJ. My other favorite is Rey's theme, very adventurous with a Harry Potter like vibe at the beginning and especially at the end of the "Finale" at the end of TLJ
