The Crow, The Punisher (2004) and Batman Begins all rank high in my book. I liked the Tim Burton films as a kid, but they don't hold up for me anymore. Chris Nolan's take on Batman is excellence in my eyes. I also appreciated the Punisher for being an old school action flick when action movies these days are just dull.

Batman Begins is my favourite, really liked the realistic approach of the film. The X-Men films were pretty good too. Kinda liked the Spiderman films but something about them just didn't grab me so much, and I've never been into Superman either.

Batman Begins. I did not expect it to be so good. Man Liam Neealson(Qui-Gon) was awsome. When him and Batman were sword fighting I yelled loudly in the theater, GO QUI-GON!!.

id say superman the movie which was a trend setter, superhero filmmakers try to copy it to this day probably trying to regain the magic touch and never quite getting it there. thats why i have high hopes for superman returns since it looks like it will recapture that feeling again. the spiderman and x men films next followed by burtons first batman

that's a TOUGH descion. i think that the majority of the comic movies they're released of late have been outstanding.....
well, the crow will always be one of my favorite movies, but i'd have to give the slight nod to batman begins on this one.. FANTASTIC cast, great script, and i loved nolan's approach to directing the movie, grounding it in a sort of reality.. it actually tried to explain HOW bruce wayne would go from millionaire son of murdered parents to batman.

The X-Men movies are my favorite by far.

Daredevil and The Hulk were okay, too. That's about it for me unless you go back to the 1978 Superman movie, which was good.

I'd also add to that Hellboy, I thought that was a pretty cool film.

Superman 1 & 2 definitely hold up for me. I also really liked both Spider-Man films, particularly the second one. I still haven't seen Batman Begins even though it's been on my DVD rack since it came out. At this point my favorite Batman film I saw in theaters is Mask of the Phantasm.

Although I tend to prefer X-Men over Spider-Man, the Spidey flicks are superior.

The X-Men films (particularly 2, looks like 3 aswell) were poorly handled - focusing on Wolverine (and to an extenct, Storm) far too much, instead of the team as a whole.

    1) Batman Begins
    2) Unbreakable
    3) X-Men 2
    4) Blade
    5) The Crow

I've added Unbreakable, because I would classify the David Dun character a man who discovers his extraordinary abilities and must come to terms with what to do with it. Does he use them and thus become a superhero?

My favorite is, without a doubt, Spiderman 2. The montage after Peter rejects his powers was heartbreaking because you knew it wasn't going to last. I'm half looking forward to and half dreading Spiderman 3.

After that it's The Incredibles. I love the scene with the little old lady who Bob "can't help". It's great to see he's still a superhero even when he isn't.

Next up is Mystery Men because - well, how can you not love a movie about superheroes who aren't good at what they do? (The Specials was fun, too, but I was't able to get into it as much.)
