    Cantina Band
    Just because it's fun

    Ben Kenobi's Death/TIE Fighter Attack
Aw, GG could have had a chance against a number of other tracks, but not this one. One of the StarWarsiest tracks there are.

    Cantina Band #2
MES is unimportant enough that I don't feel bad about voting for both Cantina tracks ;)

    The Battle Of Endor II
I'm not even entirely sure which one "Darth Sidious" was (first appearance?) but against BoE I don't need to. (though I did check just now ;))

Missed a round I see... guess I gotta get online more often.

    Cantina Band
    vs.
    The Tractor Beam/Chasm Crossfire

Thoughts: By far the toughest match yet. I love the Cantina band but the other track is so iconic. But then again so is cantina band....ack!

    General Grievous
    vs.
    Ben Kenobi's Death/TIE Fighter Attack

Thoughts: Tough call. Wish General Grievous could have made it further as its a wonderful track. But the classic TIE Fighter attack was too powerful.

    Mos Eisley Spaceport
    vs.
    Cantina Band #2

Thoughts: Both tracks are nothing special, but still alright. Cantina Band wins because its a better listen.

    The Battle Of Endor II
    vs.
    Darth Sidious

Thoughts: Darth Sidious is such a small track with his main theme and the Battle of Endor II includes that plus battle music and the Dark Side Beckons. Clear winner.

    Cantina Band
    vs.
    The Tractor Beam/Chasm Crossfire

Not because I dislike jazz music - "Cantina Band" is iconic - but "Chasm Crossfire" is just an amazing action cue. A lesser one like "Grievous and the Droids" would have lost.

    General Grievous
    vs.
    Ben Kenobi's Death/TIE Fighter Attack

"General Grievous" is very good, but there is no comparison.

    Mos Eisley Spaceport
    vs.
    Cantina Band #2

Eh. "Cantina Band #2" may have strayed too far into 50s rock or blues territory to be effective underscore.

    The Battle Of Endor II
    vs.
    Darth Sidious

"The Dark Side Beckons" and "The Emperor's Death" ... easy.

The Tractor Beam/Chasm Crossfire - Back in the day, I has an album called "The Story Of Star Wars", with narration, sound effects and some score edited together. I always remember that they used the "Chasm Crossfire" cue to score the duel between Vader and Obi-Wan. Odd. :p Oh yeah, I feel bad about Cantina Band going down so soon too.

    Ben's Death/TIE Fighter Attack - It's unanimous.

Mos Eisley Spaceport - "We must be cautious." Hehe.

The Battle Of Endor II - Easy call.

    Grievous Speaks To Lord Sidious

Once again Williams' brilliant alteration of the Emperor's theme wins out.

    The Lightsaber/Ewok Battle
    vs.
    Rescue From Cloud City/Hyperspace

I'll be one to say that the ESB final half music didn't impress me all that much. There are certain moments where there is utter genious, but a lot of the time Williams is just jumping from one theme to another and not in a smooth way. Besides, The Lightsaber/Ewok Battle track is amazing.

Nute And Rune Confer With Darth Sidious/The Queen And Group Land On Naboo/ar Jar Leads Group To The Gungans/War Plans
    vs.
Star Wars And The Revenge Of The Sith

If only they would have put those drums in at the beginning. The film version is better, but this is great too.

    Darth Sidious And Darth Maul
    vs.
    Princess Leia's Theme

A great theme easily beats out this other track.

I love both tracks, but I need to give TPM some love.

    The Lightsaber/Ewok Battle
    vs.
    Rescue From Cloud City/Hyperspace

This is the holy grail of film music as far as I am concerned. I still haven't decided if it is my favourite track of all time, but I hope it gets far.

Nute And Rune Confer With Darth Sidious/The Queen And Group Land On Naboo/ar Jar Leads Group To The Gungans/War Plans
    vs.
Star Wars And The Revenge Of The Sith

This gets it just for the cue "Boys into Battle". Although War plans is a great cue on the TPM soundtrack.

    Darth Sidious And Darth Maul
    vs.
    Princess Leia's Theme

Beautiful solos in Leia's theme make it far superior.

    Grievous Speaks To Lord Sidious
lol, just this morning I heard the track and hoped it wouldn't go up against one of the sure winners :D If that's not a sign, I don't know what is. Against Parade I don't feel too bad voting for GStLS

    Rescue From Cloud City/Hyperspace
This was almost difficult. Almost. Hyperspace is one of my favorite Star Wars tracks ever. Saber/Ewok is overshadows by the "real" (by name) BoE tracks. The Forest Battle concert suite would actually have had a better chance - but still wouldn't win ;)

Star Wars And The Revenge Of The Sith
Again, one of my favorite tracks ever. A lot more than, say, BotH. In fact, I just hummed parts of it on my way home an hour ago ;)

    Princess Leia's Theme
It's beautiful. There's not enough in Sid/Maul to rank it high enough.

Grievous Speaks To Lord Sidious - I'm simply not too fond of The Parade.

Rescue From Cloud City/Hyperspace - One of my personal favorites of the entire saga.

Star Wars And The Revenge Of The Sith

Princess Leia's Theme - same reason as Senny, but I do prefer the Emperor's theme over Princess Leia's.

Thoughts: Have to go with Grievous's theme here over the jolly version of the Emperors.

    The Lightsaber/Ewok Battle
    vs.
    Rescue From Cloud City/Hyperspace

Thoughts: The Lightsaber/Ewok Battle is just rehashed music and then part of the forest suite. Since that suite is still to come, I figured I'd give the win to the TESB track. Not to mention its the better of the two. :p

Nute And Rune Confer With Darth Sidious/The Queen And Group Land On Naboo/ar Jar Leads Group To The Gungans/War Plans
    vs.
Star Wars And The Revenge Of The Sith

Thoughts: I felt the track version from Sith flowed better than the other one. Gets me more pumped for the battle.

    Darth Sidious And Darth Maul
    vs.
    Princess Leia's Theme

Thoughts: As a concert piece, Leia's theme has the advantage. But I do like the intro of Darth Sidious and Darth Maul. Especially on the big screen in the theater. It was so awesome to introduce Coruscant that way.

The Throne Room/End Title - Can't get any more Star Warsy than this track.:D

Qui-Gon And Obi-Wan Rescue The Queen/Fighting The Guards/Escape From Naboo - A heck of a lot more interesting than neverending tribal drums.

Emperor's Throne Room - I had to listen to both tracks to make my decision, but in the end I think the throne room track is definitely more memorable.

The Asteroid Field - wow, that one was really hard. While the Main Title/Tantive IV track is amazing and iconic, the majority of it was repeated in the other 5 films. The Asteroid Field is a truly unique track that I enjoy very much.

    Attacking A Star Destroyer
    vs.
    The Throne Room/End Title

I absolutely love the opening notes to Attacking a Star Destroyer. Those are some of my all time favorites, but this has to go to the iconic Throne Room. Wow!

    Ewok Feast/Part Of The Tribe
    vs.
Qui-Gon And Obi-Wan Rescue The Queen/Fighting The Guards/Escape From Naboo

Ewok Feast works great as source music, but it doesn't really go further than that.

    Emperor's Throne Room
    vs.
    Talk Of Podracing

I really love Talk of Podracing, but that Emperor's Theme will win out most of the time.

    Main Title/Rebel Blockade Runner

Two unbelievable cues. Sadly one has to win. I can easily defend both.

Escape from Naboo is such a good cue, it got reused at least 3 times!

    Emperor's Throne Room /b] vs.
    Talk Of Podracing

    Very atmospheric.

    Main Title/Rebel Blockade Runner

Ugh. I screwed up the markup, I just realised. I meant to vote for:

    Round II

    Attacking A Star Destroyer
    vs.
    The Throne Room/End Title

Thoughts: Pity. I love the Attacking a Star Destroyer piece. But it certainly falls short of the throne room music.

    Ewok Feast/Part Of The Tribe
    vs.
Qui-Gon And Obi-Wan Rescue The Queen/Fighting The Guards/Escape From Naboo

Thoughts: Both are alright. But the TPM track has some great action cues.

    Emperor's Throne Room
    vs.
    Talk Of Podracing

Thoughts: It's all about the Emperor's Theme here.

    Main Title/Rebel Blockade Runner
    vs.
    The Asteroid Field

Thoughts: Strangest choice I've made yet. I would have to choose the Main Title because it's the original with the main star wars fanfare. Not to mention the dramatic music to unveil the ships. Total classic. But the asteroid chase just gets my blood pumped up more. It's a crazy tune that ends nicely on the love theme.

As said above, one of the most StarWarsy tracks. Very ANH. And a "Force March"!

Qui-Gon And Obi-Wan Rescue The Queen/Fighting The Guards/Escape From Naboo
The Ewok stuff is fun, but not enough to win.

    Emperor's Throne Room
Podracing is a very nice little cue but this is pure evil and great atmosphere.

    The Asteroid Field
Blockade Runner is overrated and the Main Theme gets over chances (though it sounds a little different each time ;)) so this has to go to one of the many great action cues of the CT.
