GG I think you need to be made a mod with how many times you redirect people.

 

Everyone wants to be a mini-mod. I've done my fair share.

 

It's not that, I just keep seeing these "favorite" threads appear a lot. Mostly because newer people that post here aren't aware of the older, similiar threads.

 

Let's pretend there is nothing above this post.
I'll start.

TCW Season 1

Overall season rating (from 0 to 10): 8

Favorite Main Character: Ahsoka, Grievous
Favorite Side/Cameo Character: Cad Bane, Aayla, Chuchi
Favorite Episode/Arc: Grievous episodes, Hostage Crisis
Favorite Scene: Slick revealed as a traitor
Favorite Vehicle/Beast: Venator-class SD
Favorite Line: Hondo's line about his mother

Grievous is not all victorious but still a good villain character for TCW. And Cad Bane introduction was glorious.
It is really hard to pick a favorite episode in this season - I love them all, but Grievous episodes and Cad Bane are really interesting.

TCW Season 2

Overall season rating (from 0 to 10): 8,5

Favorite Main Character: Ahsoka, Anakin
Favorite Side/Cameo Character: Barris Offee, Satine, Rex
Favorite Episode/Arc: Brain Invaders, Grievous Intrigue, Voyage of Temptation, The Deserter
Favorite Scene: Zombie-clones indoctrinating normal clone
Favorite Vehicle/Beast: Slave I
Favorite Line: Zombie-clone line about how to stop a Jedi

Again it is hard to pick favorite episode, so I picked the most interesting eps in my opinion, but I still love them all.

TCW Season 3

Overall season rating (from 0 to 10): 7

Favorite Main Character: Ahsoka, Anakin
Favorite Side/Cameo Character: Quinlan Vos, Ventress, Dooku, Son
Favorite Episode/Arc: ARC troopers, Savage-arc, Overlords, Citadel-arc, Ahsoka captured-arc
Favorite Scene: Savage vs Ventress vs Dooku fight
Favorite Vehicle/Beast: Convorees, Savage Opress
Favorite Line: "A failed apprentice makes for a foolish master"

I gave S3 a generous "7" because of the really good episodes from the second half of the season, while most of the first half was not really great (except 2 first episodes).

PS I fail to see how an old thread (last post there dated nearly a year ago) is better than the new thread. And I don't see any of "Favorite threads" on this boards, at least on the first page. Do not reply, please. If Mod will say it is better to reopen an old thread so be it.

 

@GG- What about "Things that suck in TCW"-thread that would be more for your liking i guess..... and even i could write something there since there is unfortunately plenty of those things too

Ah now to be fair, Barriss did suggest to him that he start this in a new thread instead of clogging up the SWGDT (no I can't be bothered to type out that much any more).

 

I don't view that thread, but if Barriss said it's fine, then okay.

But saying "Let's pretend there is nothing above this post." is not really appropriate, JoleeBee.

 

You don't know what you're missing.

I have to agree, that's not a very mature or appropriate way of dealing with this.

Now let's discuss favorite things in TCW, please.

 

I'm finding it difficult to name a 'favourite' thing in TCW. Unless if you count general things, such as, I like the battles in TCW. Among those battles there is no clear favourite for me, but I definitely prefer it over speeches and dumbed-down Galactic monetary and fiscal policy.

 

It didn't offend me, but you have to realize everyone has different opinions.

 

It was not about opinions (I thought you've read about what Barriss Coffee said - green light to a new thread). I respect everyone's opinions but that your's "go discuss this in an old thread I found" (and offtopic that followed it) was a bit harsh and was not an "opinion" but something completely different.

Alright 2 things:

1) Y'all stop bickering now y'hear? If I hear another one these "You-can't-say-that/I-can-say-whatever-I-want" cyclical debates the banstick comes out.

2) Yes, we already have "favorite" threads of sorts. Since JoleeBee structured this one differently than those in the past, I don't see why we can't keep it around for now. It's something to pass the time. If it was just a repeat of "What do you rate this episode?" or "What's your favorite species?" yes, it would be redundant. But this one's pretty unique.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard that "you-can't-say/I-can-say" debate around here, I'd be able to fund George's live action series.

I love the esps with the Night sisters. The attack on Count Dooku. That was pretty cool.
