JCC Favorite villains?

A newcomer, who's currently the most interesting villains out there (and already on the way of becoming my favourites):

Gyp Rosetti (from Boardwalk Empire - Season 3)
No other guy is this intimidating and unbalanced, yet has some very unusual sexual desires and is the only male sibling in a family of sisters (which makes for a hilarious extra layer in character depiction)



Roy Batty (from Blade Runner):
Although, I have a bit of a hard time calling him a villain- since there's a role reversal and certain ambivalence to his motivations at times.


Biff Tannen (The Back to the Future Trilogy)
We get the delight of seeing him cause trouble for our protagonists in five different time periods and two different time lines. Top that!


Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader (Star Trek, I think):
Unlike some, I love what GL did with the character's backstory. A character who tried to do good and ends up ruining all he's ever cared for is a much more frighting than one that's nothing but evil with nothing below the surface. The fact you can empathise with his original intentions and that he's basically become an empty soul for failing are what gives him a truly scary element. He has nothing to lose anymore.


Not to mention, Darth Sidious and his henchmen (Maul, Dooku, Grievous).

My second favourite villain when I was a kid was:
Don Karnage (from Tale Spin)
I wanted to be like him and then have a change of heart and form an alliance with the heroes at the last minute.


Coincidentally, I also really liked Long John Silver (another fox), who was the main villain from The Legends of Treasure Island. I was really sad when he was fried by lightning in the final episode.

But my favourite villain, ever since I was a kid would have to be a tie between the following two incarnations of the same character:
The Joker (Jack Nicholson - BATMAN 1989 / Mark Hamill - Batman: The Animated Series)





The Villains of Batman Returns Although not all of them are true villains, when you combine their pasts and character traits of all three, you get Bruce Wayne/ Batman, which I think is highly interesting and a rarely seen concept.

 

Shockingly, no. I'm really just that cheerfully morbid by nature.

 

ZE ASSMAN COMETH

You see he's a villain for being one of the many factors that nearly destroyed the franchise back in the day. Get it?

 

Mr Freeze is actually a really cool villain, just not in that movie.

 

Yup I just meant that movie. He's a great tragic figure in the comics and Arkham City.

 

"Think of it, Batman. To never again walk on a summer's day with the hot wind in your face and a warm hand to hold. Oh yes, I'd kill for that!"

Warduke, there is no story written for this character but he is iconic none the less.
Venger
Bill(Kill Bill)
Vader, Palpatine, various SW.

Raven (Streets Of Fire)
Nimrod before he became Bastion
Mordru the Magician
Thanos
Malificent who has the best line ever utterred by a villain.



So many more I am not thinking of at the moment.

 

And he was a fan of Seinfeld.
