Wookies do not cry, they just get dust in the eyes.
and rip off people's arms when mad
i dont know but against the trando of same size, chewie looked very weak.
without omers help he would be a wall decoration now.
Don't get me wrong, I like the younglings, but unless there's a reason to create these new characters, I feel like they're just wasting time showcasing them.
That is true! Chewbacca did look pathetic against the trandos and the fact that he was a wookiee did not help him. He was gonna be dog food if not for the padawan.
Trandoshans love hunting and killing Wookies
SO. DO. I.
Wookiees hate you now
lets kill em all!
just kidding. i am a pacifist.
Gungi, if only the EU would still be safe...
Why even ask? 90% of people are going to say the Wookiee.
In Chewie's defense, he survived a ship crash and probably hadn't had a good meal in a while. Even a wookiee can have an off day
You don't mess with Gungi or Chewie
Byph and Zatt. I'm not a wookie fan so not overly interested in Gungi. I love Ithorians though and who wouldn't want to see a mini-Fisto?
Zatt has really grown on me. I like geeky technobabble kids.
After watching the entire arc in one sitting I didn't have any strong feelings toward any of them, but overall I liked them.
Petro: The Lancer, the cocky, tough guy. Done well, as in not annoying by overdoing any one aspect. Probably my favorite.
Ganodi: Hard to place her trope, but she came off as smart, with a bit of an attitude that I liked. The crying was a bit much, but it was for the kids.
Zatt: The smart guy. Thought he lost his temper a bit quickly, but recovered well. I guess kids have explosive tempers at times, but it sorta came out of nowhere. Perhaps a little background of previous failures would have helped explain it. I think I just liked that he sounded like he had a stuffy nose the whole arc.
Gungi: The big guy. Fun, good attitude. Not as big on him as others.
Katooni: The leader. The most mature, in contrast to Petro. Strange that she was afraid to climb. A lot of kids love climbing and would have been totally gung ho about it, strange to see a Jedi kid actually show fear here. The most dry, and therefore my least favorite.
Byph: They struggled early with his lack of Basic, but they used his speech well at times. Kinda came off as the team pet at times.
Besides Gungi's, their lightsabers were actually quite traditional, which I didn't expect. I expected them to go super speshul with each one. Outside of Gungi's, I wasn't particularly impressed with any of the designs, they just came off as kitbashes. Not that it's a big deal.
No name required.
Byph- because he was such an adorable homage to E.T. that worked well as a Youngling
It's pretty obvious who Christian Taylor's favourite younglings are, and why they're his favourites:
I guess I'll be in the minority and go with Ganodi. Yeah, she gets a little teary in the first episode, but like the rest of them she calmed down and succeeded. Plus, she ended up being kind of spunky in the end.
Byph and Gungi right behind her. What can I say, they're both pretty cute models. I could see them making good plush toys.
Katooni right behind them.
Zatt behind her. By the end of the arc, I thought he was one of the least defined.
Petro last. Sometimes the arrogant hotshot works, sometimes it doesn't. He had his moments, but not as many as the rest of the group in my eyes.
Although he didn't have my favorite story of the younglings, my favorite character overall has to be Zatt. I just love how he seemed to fit the role of a Star Trek science officer, like the Mr. Spock of the younglings. And if you watch after he bashes his tricorder (or whatever the Star Wars equivalent of a tricorder is) into the wall and slouches against it, the crack in the ice is a perfect Starship Enterprise/Starfleet insignia. That was awesome.
Imagine a Action Figure of Zatt that comes with his scanner thing
Zatt was my favorite as well although more because he reminded me of Billy from Power Rangers. Seriously he just needed glasses and blue attire. He also reminded me of myself bashing his datapad thing. If it doesn't work, beat it. And that Starship Enterprise insignia was awesome.
They were both the tech-geeks of their respective groups.
