Favortite PT Movie

Mine is ROTS all the way.
All the lightsaber duel are awesome, the begining space battle is cool, Order 66 scene is great, Ian McDiamird(sp?) is terrific, and the ending musical montage is great, and the last shot in front of the twin sunsets is realy cool.

What is your favortie PT movie and why?

ROTS

I have just fallen in love with this film,I like the humor, the darkness, Ian Mcdiarmids performance steals the show and is worth watching on all on his own,great lightsabre fights,the wookie battle,More Yoda,order 66, the way the whole film blends into the original trilogy,Anakins fall from grace,the birth of Vader,etc etc etc

 

I'm actually having a really hard time deciding this, but I know for sure that it's definetely NOT ROTS. Although the acting was much improved, I found the things that tie the PT to the OT to be very rushed in inexplicable.

Now as for the other two movies, well I've really started to feel the beauty of AOTC lately, I guess maybe because I've learned to look past all the numerous directorial and editorial mistakes and have found the basis of the movie to be quite wonderful. But I don't think it can ever replace the feeling I felt when I saw TPM for the first time at the movies. The adrenaline rush, the wonder of all the new innovations in the Star Wars universe - nothing really beats that. TPM had a good story, great fight sequences, interesting characters, wonderous and exotic new locations, and best of all...DARTH MAUL baby!
So I think TPM is the best movie out of the prequels.

 

ROTS all the way just an all around great movie tied up the prequals nicely. The Anakin VS Obi-Wan duel is just too good, the temple assault, Grievous, too many good points to pick out.

 

TPM by far.

TPM+RotS...I still love clones though, but I watched it so many times I got sick of it

 

Revenge of the Sith. A lot of the allusions to the first Star Wars made it seem all the more special. I didn't particularly dislike any of the films though.

 

AOTC. I've seen what people say about it, but I just don't get them. I love it.

 

ROTS not only best PT movie or best Star Wars movie, but best movie ever.

 

I think I'll say AOTC for the moment.

ROTS= best duels of saga, great set of actors, great action sequences, longest of all come on now. ROTS hands down

 

Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

But, the greatness of that film doesn't work without Episode I The Phantom Menace and Episode II Attack of the Clones.

Probably ROTS. TPM was more solid, but ROTS was better directed and had no JJB... but then TPM had no Yoda with a lightsaber, so - hmmm, I might want to make up my mind after I see the DVD cut of ROTS.

 

ROTS? The best movie ever? LOL! Give me a break, man! A pretty good movie with certain wasted potential that sprung from minor quibbles to be a better film, in my eyes.

ROTS is very obviously the best of the prequels though. Followed by TPM and AOTC IMHO.

well as far as the PT goes ROTS is the best but I must admit that I find it equal to Empire, although Empire is so damn good. I don't know my opinion on these 2 movies vacillates daily.
