All this talk about Deus Ex. Damn you guys, now I have to search Steam or GoG and just start playing it once and for all.

Honestly, it's either Batman: Arkham Asylum or Bloodborne. I mean I could pick any number of games, but it's gonna be one of those and I'm totally cool with them both being really recent.

This is a series I've definitely wanted to make more time for. I remember playing Riven as a school student when it was first released. I went as far as taking notes and writing down their numbering system but I was just hopeless with it. It was so cryptic. I'll try it again someday.

Shenmue 2. Less of a game than an experience back when I first played it, and one that has stayed with me. I replayed it several years back and it still felt more expansive and alive to me than most current open world games I've tried.

My favorite game? Hm, though it's difficult to pick between genres, I'd have to go with the one I logged the most hours on - Hearts of Iron II. Specifically the Darkest Hour mod, it takes a brilliant game and brings it about as close as it can come to being perfect. The only thing it lacked was a really good set of post-war scenarios.

I picked up Deus Ex off of GOG a while back. I'm enjoying it thus far.

If you haven't played System Shock 2, I would encourage you to play it. It is the closest thing to Deus Ex and in fact, a spiritual ancestor of Deus Ex. Probably not as good, but still one of the best games ever.

Seen my signature? It's on my list of games to play for 2015 :)

I actually have it on my hard drive but i'm busy with a couple of other games at the moment, plus exams are coming up. But before 2015 is out, I definitely want to play through it. It's one of those games like Grim Fandango which I only finished a couple of months ago.

Impossible for me to pick just one....I'll go with a top 3 of Metroid Prime, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Mass Effect 2.

    1) Red Dead Redemption
    2) Super Mario World
    3) Kingdom Hearts

After those it gets pretty muddled, but that's been my definitive top three since I finished RDR back in 2010.

Jedi Academy. I prefer the combat system with saber and special skills rather than the other shooters or games with melee, also even today are made maps for this game.

The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim

After beginning it, I found Embershard Mine on my way to Riverwood and stealthily killed every bandit inside. Fell in love right then and there.
