What’s your favourite planet out of all of the ones featured in the latest three films (The Force Awakens, Rogue One and The Last Jedi)?

My personal favourite is Crait. It just looks so beautiful. The combination of white and red created something so unique that we’ve never seen before in Star Wars. Scarif takes my second place.

i voted scarif, although i love all of the planets in rogue one. it looks so refreshing, and i love the pacific theater vibes it gives off. my second favorite is jedha, for being the source of some cool force history. i'm not too big on the planets of the st though.

Ahch-to because it does give the impression of a world that no one goes to.
Jakku a close second because 'a day in the life of Rey' from TFA is probably the best introduction to a new character in the ST.

    Takodana.
It's Derwent Water up in the lake district in cumbria. I went up there before TFA came out after seeing the trailer... it's absolutely beautiful.

Ahch-To. Love the island, the temple, the tree, the porgs, and especially the caretakers. I've heard there's a deleted scene of the caretakers and hope it's on the blu-ray.

Probably Scarif. Star Wars planets are always so dreary. Places i'd hate to VISIT much less live there. Scarif looks like i place i can get behind.

    Crait
    Ach-To
    Scarif

All are beautiful places the likes of which had not been seen in Star Wars (I’ve heard comparisons of Crait to Hoth but I see a difference), and Crait and Ach-To both had the advantage of having really cool creatures (crystal foxes and porgs).

Crait was pretty sweet. Hell, all the planets in TLJ smoke the depressingly unimaginative planets in TFA.

Wobani's rings are gorgeous, and so are the rings on Lah'mu.

Crait because it's one of the only unique planets in the ST or RO.

Most of the others are ripoffs. Example: Jakku being a ripoff of Tattoine.

I like them all but voted for Cantonica because I admire the world building of Canto Bight and think it deserves praise. Johnson respected the prequels more than many filmmakers and Canto Bight’s untarnished wealth and world building felt a little like something Lucas would have imagined. I also love the costumes and police uniforms and mix of ancient and modern resort excess mixing there.

I like them all though. Jakku’s post apocalyptic war history is amazing to behold in the sand.

Scarif had a cool mix of Pearl Harbor and Vietnam to it.

I loved the salt flats red touches on Crait and the beauty of the gems in the mines and the Vupltexes.

Ahch-To’s culture and ancestry was also breathtaking. It felt ancient. The Dark Side hole. The Caretakers. The huts. The Porgs. It’s perfect.

    I like them all.

Wherever the casino was. Only location in the new films that has appealed to me thus far.

TLJ locations were very solid overall. I thought Cantonica, Crait, and Ahch-To were all beautiful and unique.
Scarif in RO is also great.
TFA didn't offer a whole lot. I like the crashed ships/vehicles on Jakku, but otherwise it is just Tatooine.

Dependent wholly upon whichever happens to be on the screen at the time, I am continually back and forth on favoring Crait and Ahch-To.

Scarif and Cantonica. The rest of the planets had boring designs, this is one major area where George Lucas is really missed.

Jedha and Scarif are my fav new planets so far. I also did like Takodana for what little we saw of it. Crait is ok too...I like the look.

Everyone of the planets in RO was perfectly set in the real "lived in world" feel of the OT - I am going with Lah'mu there! As far as the ST goes I like all except Cantonica. Which (based on early concepts) should have been number 1 but is my least favourite as it brings back bad cgi planet memories... Crait was fantastic! I would also like to know where Lukes Academy is set...?

    Ahch-To

Not only a staggeringly beautiful planet, but it has such a sense of history with terrific and varied world building.

The history is what elevates it even beyond its natural beauty and design to me. I found myself imagining countless millennia ago, when it was occupied with multiple Jedi, studying, training and philosophizing by the same pool, and on the same rock, as Luke. And, it makes that one, solitary, broken final Jedi haunting its stairways and halls have even more impact.

Lah’mu. I’m a weirdo lol. It had the perfect SW vibe to me - desolate yet beautiful. I’d put Jedha in second place and Scarif in third. R1 nailed the world building. TFA and TLJ were both super lacking in this regard, but I think I’d put Jakku in fourth. It was the most interesting between those two movies.

I loved Ahch-To in TFA, but I actually hated its development in TLJ. The porgs were fine but the nuns were so underdeveloped I was annoyed. They never even conversed with anyone. They were just there and looked bad to me. It never felt authentic.

I wanted to love Crait, but I could write paragraphs on how disappointed I was with the way it was used. Such a waste. Made for cool trailer shots and literally nothing else.

Edit - I confused Eadu with Lahmu. The planet at the beginning of R1 is my favorite, not the one with the rain and rocks.

I loved Scarif, both the tropical setting as well as the geo-strategy of the battle (diversion by the support troops on different platforms, locations of critical elements such as the master switch, etc).

Scariff for me too. Looks beautiful and is the whole tropical paradise.

Hope we get something similar soon.

We’ve had enough desert worlds and forest moons

Scarif and it's not much of a contest for me. I love tropical locations and I was hoping we'd get to see one in Star Wars eventually. Kashyyyk's technically a beach but I wouldn't consider it tropical.

Most of the planets in the ST are pretty boring to me, but my favorite of those has to be Takodana. I really like the lake scenery. Unfortunately, other than that there's nothing too amazing about it.
