    It was perfect in my opinion. It captured the vibe that this IS Star Wars, but it's not a saga film.

    One of my favorite little parts is the guy talking on the loud speaker when the tank moves into the city. I can't tell exactly what he says but it sounds like some cool Imperial propaganda. It's just one of those added elements that makes the world feel really realistic.

    I still can't find a written version of the background imperial propaganda on jedhi city... but that really helped sell the atmosphere for me... alongside imperial personal all around in long trench coats...

    Agreed. The almost sad way Cassian said it sounded like he simultaneously appreciated Chirrut's support of Jyn and yet was thinking "That will literally help nothing at all."

    Getting ready to go to Jedha, K-2 and Cassian ask Jyn why she has a blaster.

    "I know how to use it."

    The mannerism and delivery is great acting.

    I just found a really interesting parallel. After the introduction to the ground battle of Scarif, the camera pans back to the Death Star.
    Conversation goes somthing like this:
    Random Officer: Sir, Scarif base is reporting a rebel incursion.
    Tarkin: I want to speak to Dr. Krennic.
    Random Officer: He's there, sir. On Scarif.

    Shortly after, the movie goes back to Yavin with Mon Mothma.
    Private: Intercepted transmission, Mothma. Rebels on Scarif.
    Mon Mothma: I need to speak to Admiral Raddus.
    Private: He's in his ship; he's going to fight.

    Really weird parallel. These aren't the exact quotes, but something similar.

    That whole Jedha sequence put the war in Star Wars to me. It had a gritty feel.
