FF:WA Favourite Star Wars Novel

    To anyone that reads the SW novels, I would like to know which one is your favourite and why ? Also your favourite SW author.

    I reckon the Hand of Thrawn duology by Timothy Zahn.

    I can't really say which is my fav as I really don't have one. As I read a lot of other novels SW ones don't really compare to them. However if I was to pick one it would have to be Timothy Zahnn novels. They did start the resurgence and they were well written, keeping to the feel of what SW was all about. Something that few of the novelists have been able to do.

    I'd also pick the original Thrawn series.

    hmm it's a bit hard to pick 1 book out of about 80 odd on the shelf... if I had to narrow it down, it would come down to I,Jedi and the Thrawn books (all 5)

    My vote goes toward Starfighters of Adumar.

    Starfighters was pretty funny.. just goes to show what a bunch of reprobates the Rogues are :)

    Which is why I'm looking forward to Allston's NJO duology. His witty humous is enough to get me interested.
