Actually, of all the weirdness, the Magic Club is having a business meeting Tuesday.. at Borders! It will be weird having two facets of my life meeting at the same time.

The Magic meeting starts at 6:30, and the important part wraps up fairly quickly, so I'll then hop tables over to the book club, so FCBD talk during that time would be good.

 

I can't ever remember my tfn login or password. Oh well finally got in. Desolate and I are rushing this week to get stuff done, we'll be there! I hope to have my Batman Begins done in time, anyone that wants to see it should pray, its coming down to the wire. Guys who make rubber armor are SLOW.

 

If anyone knows someone who is about my size that can wear my Luke I'll loan it out for the morning. The jacket is roughly size large and the pants have a 32-34 waist. I have huge feet so unless you're Shaq it'll be fine. Oh and the wig, so hair isn't important.

 

C'mon 'keshie, be the Luke, feel The Force flowing through you!

 

I could be the Luke for FCBD...

I have the hair and tan for it. But my pant size is 28-29. But what I could do is wear a pair of my own kahki pants. Does anyone have 'mummy' wrap boots or props? If the Powers-That-Be can provide the Kesh with close-to-proper equip Kesh can be the Luke.

I can also do a pretty good Skywalker whine! (pouting teenage angst) "But I was gonna go to Tosche Station to pick up some power convertors".

Man Kesh, with a waist that size, you could almost be Anthony Daniels! I really need to get you a 3PO costume.

Don't worry, the pants have some elastic in them, plus there's the gunbelt.

 

I just discovered my TIE Pilot helmet is seriously damaged, and I don't know if I can repair it by Saturday!! Anyone have a Death Star Trooper or Gunner helmet they can loan me?

 

Wish I could help, all I have is a Don Post CA Vader and a Kellogg's Clonetrooper.

 

I've got an officers cap if all else fails.

Did it get squashed in storage?

 

Yes, but it was on its last legs anyway.. It had a crack which has grown, despite repair, and all the mods had taken their toll on its already fragile structure. I've got a line on a new one maybe, but not by Saturday.

 

Understandable... not the sort of thing you can pick up at Wal-Mart.

Nathan's grandfather passed away today (May 2).
Plans are still in the making, but we definitely won't be at FCBD this year.

had a blast today.. Iron Man was good for the second time.. and the FCBD couldnt have gone any better minus the loss of my camera.. well maybe it will return some time.. well i hope to start coming to some more events.. i posted pics on my website.. www.des0late.com

 

I'll start coming to more meetings when I get off of second shift in July. Looks like most of the meetings are during the week. It was an awesome day.

FCBD could not have gone better! Thanks to everyone who costumed for the day! We raised $27 for Make-A-Wish. Next year, we will definitely raise more because we have been promised the grill.
