I spoke with Micah (one of our original SCFF members who has since disappeared) the other day, and he wanted me to let you guys know that his place is still open for meetings. I personally think it's a great idea as his place is great for meetings. His dad is in charge of the apartment he lives in or something, and they have kind of a party room with a big tv, tables, kitchen, etc. that we would have access to.

Also, this would potentially be a good way to get Micah involved again and regain an old member.

I'm not sure if this counts as private residence since it is a party room type thing of the apartment complex, so I dunno how that goes, but there is the fact that our last two meetings were in public, so I don't think it could hurt either way.

Let me know what you guys think.

 

I like the idea of doing it there. I think we should try and get some of the people who have faded away back into the fold.

so when do we want to do it? im thinking maybe feb 15th would be a good day. any thoughts on it?

 

In February I have Fridays and Saturdays off instead of Sundays and Mondays. If we could do it on a saturday, that'd work better for me, but if we do it on a Sunday I should still be able to make it, I'd just have to leave in time to go to work.

 

Since I'm booked on the 22nd, and won't be able to attend the RMFF gathering up north, I might be able to make it down for this. What part of town is Micah in?

 

the winter park trip for the RMFF is the last weekend, so i should be available for all sats. well the 14th we would have to do it in the AM< cause that love day is a pain the neck at work. im open for most days!

 

Ok, we gotta lock this one down. 14th or 15th? Either works for me. I think I'm partial to 14th. Sunday is more of a family day for me. We go to services, go out to eat, hang out, play, etc... I would rather do the 14th.


PM me your choice (14/15) by Sunday night and that will be the day. Majority rules.

Then we'll try to lock down this place of Micah's.

 

14th, but I agree that we shouldn't do it too late b/c I'll probably have to do something for v-day...

 

I say we shoot for 1pm. That gives me time for the ministry in the morning and then a couple of hours with you guys in the afternoon. Then the evening is free for whatever...

ok, we are looking at about a week away for the meeting. we need to get this stuff figured out.


any word on micahs place? if we dont hear anyhting by tomorrow i say we come up with some public place.

 

i have sent him an email, waiting for a response.

 

we might just want to pick a public place guys. its less than a week away.

 

We'll make a decision on Wednesday. Since we are shooting for a public place it won't be hard to make adjustments.
