February Meeting or Prop/Costume Session Sun Feb 24 2-5 @ Darth Hair's

Of course we'll be talking about events and stuff. All are welcome, even if you're not building props.

 

Oh, if there is a positive response from Lucasfilms, you can betcha there will be lots to talk about, 'cause that's when the real work will begin.....hehehehehehehehehe......

 

well, I'm not planning on building anything for myself, but I'll be there to shoot the bull and help everyone else...so go ahead and show up JO...if everyone's too busy, I'll talk to you...maybe .

I can get two more people in my car if there's anyone in S.E. who wants a lift. We're meeting @ my office @ 1:15 (Behind Best Buy @ Colorado & I-25).

 

ME, ME, ME, FIGARO!!!! And I'll be bringin' oodles of tools, too!

 

I would love to go, but I can't. PtrsonsZOO offered me a ride, but my mom dosen't want me getting rides with people I don't know. Plus, my mom says its to far. But hey, maybe next time, if its closer and at a public place, like a mall, I'll come. My mother is just worried about my safty.

I'm gonna ask my parents for the sake of asking, but they will probably tell me the same old.

If you can make it to I-25 & Colorado, I can get you the rest of the way. Also, check with SilverDragon, he's coming up from the Springs and I'm driving the rest of the way (so he doesn't get lost), maybe you guys can carpool. That is, if your parents have found the mercy & trust to let you come on up. If not, then you only have a couple more months before the big day.

I'll second that. Besides, they could have a peer conversation with our older members. Maybe they think we are all just a bunch freaks who are obsessed with Star Wars.

We're not freaks, just geeks, and we all know how harmless geeks are.

Yea, I try to infuse youthful fervor into those masses that are along my time-line(ancient, and Yoda-like!) I'm probably the oldest in the group and the youngest at heart, but there may be someone out there in the darkness that has me beat and just doesn't want to own up to it!

 

now Darth Hair is talking about this sunday...and the topic says the 24th... I'm all messed up, whazzup!?!?!?!?! And yeah, I'll show up in my homemade Darth Vader costume

 

as far as I know it's the 24th. That's still the official plan. I PM'd DH to confirm, but I'm going with the 24th.

I'm planning on being there if nothing comes up in the next week and a half that prevents it. I do have some craft and hand tools, would it be useful if I brought them?

 

How can we punish for your good deeds if you don't show up with books and tools, and a desire to help???????

My mom said that if I can get a ride (with someone I've met already) then it's a go!

I have an airbrush I can bring up, do you have an aircompressor DH? Or should I bring my own? Also I'll get the dremel out, and should I bring a heat gun? I don't know what we could use it for, but those things can come in handy!

Ooo... And I'll probably need to bring air brush paints...hmmmm... that means I get to go shopping!!!

 

I wish I could come. Its sounds like a lot of fun. Only if I knew someone from my school or who lives close to me, and who psots here...Well I can't get all sad over it now...I really want to go...Okay, enough crying. I hope you guys have a fun time. Although I am not a costume creator, I could probally start a few good debates about Star Wars, and about real life.
