Orlando, FL February Meeting / Saturday the 18th

The next meeting will be at 2:00pm Saturday, 18 February 2006 at the Downtown Orlando Public Library, third floor meeting rooms.

 

Im somewat new to this site. What do you do in the meatings and what is the dress code?

 

Welcome! Most of our activity happens in our main message boards (the link in my signature), so don't worry that there's not a huge response here.

There is no dress code beyond that of the library (or most public places), you have to wear shoes, you have to wear a shirt, but beyond that pretty much anything goes. As to the goings-on, we're trying to get a little organized this meeting and plan some future events and get-togethers. Beyond that, the majority of the meeting is about seeing friends, meeting new people, and generally just hanging out with other fans of Star Wars. -Campbell

 

Is saturday the only day available? Its just I work on saturdays and dont get of untill late. Also Are you guys planing to attend the star wars weekends this year?

 

We alternate our meeting days to hopefully give everyone a chance to attend. This month's meeting is tomorrow (Saturday) in the afternoon, but next month's will most likely be on a Wednesday evening. In between meetings, you are free to keep up with the group either here or on our boards.

 

The February meeting of the Orlando System begins in 90 minutes at the Downtown Orlando Library third floor meeting rooms! Be there or be square!
