Last time I ate them, they came back up. For an entire week.

 

Then we'll all do our part to keep you from eating weenies!

 

I guess Dajuan is out for the weenie eating contest.

 

Being that I am new, I would like to come and meet some of you, but I have recently taken a second job that takes up my Fridays and Saturdays. Maybe next month (March) I will be able to come.

 

Hmm, I have the opposite problem. No job equals no money for gas and hotel rooms. Maybe someday though...

I will continue to hope that a whole bunch of fans will pop up withing a hundred miles of where I live so I can justify dragging you all out to the boonies. It sounds like you could do with the fresh air.

 

Fresh air is good...

I like going to Sedalia because it's far away from the city life.

I think I am going to bring a copy of the Swordplay performance to the meeting.

Actually, KC is twice as far from me as StL. That's why I picked this board. (And you all seemed very nice at the time. Of course, now that you're trying to get rid of me... )

I guess, for the time being, I get to be internet gal. That does have it's advantages, you know. I get to remain a little mysterious and you don't know if I'm making stuff up or not.

 

I thought you said you were 80 miles west of Springfield. Or was it east?

EDIT: Yep just checked. It was east. My mistake. Silly astronomy major automatically switching everything left and right on a map....

Diane, glad you're going to stay with us. We are so much cooler than KC. And, we have a better Ren Faire.

 

JCF - Definitely bring a copy of your performance, I'd love to see it.

 

JCF, my sister is a freshman at your school, and she said that the sword fighting was really cool, and that it got a pretty big response. She also said that you were the only senior in the show, so, way to show those under-classman why they should respect the senior class! Congrats.

 

That's awesome Tovel! Glad she liked it! I wasn't the only senior in the show though, there were a few seniors. But we smoked the lower-classmen though. We smoked them ALL. IMO.

Anyways, back on topic...

 

I know ordering pizzas has been mentioned on occasion for different meetings.

I was talking with my Mrs. last night. We had discussed getting a bunch of Boboli crusts, pizza sauce, cheese and various toppings and making Pizzas. This way when whoever shows up, they could top a pizza with whatever they wanted and just toss it in the oven.

Good idea? Bad idea? Feedback? Suggested toppings?

 

Boboli crusts = crap.

Get roma. They're better. Lightly brushed with olive oil.

And the best kind of premade pizza sauce is "Taste of the Hill". I know it can be found at my Schnucks.

And for cheeses, you must have fresh grated mozerella, provel, and romano.

And the pizza must be cooked on a baking stone.

(Don't believe me that my pizzas are the best? Just ask Dajuan.)

As I fight to get back from the Wastelands of Real Life ... This thing is at DarthShoey's and on the 26th ?? If so ... I'd need a ride Amy ... but, then again I'm happy it's in my neck of the woods

 

I'm not positive that I'm going Mike... I'll have to let you know.
