Spring, MO February Meeting

So with the January Bowling meet past, it is time to think of our next get together.

Weekend dates include:
3/4
10/11
17/18
24/25

What sounds good to everyone? Suggestions? Wants?

Personally I will be out of town on both weekends of the 10 and the 24.

 

Maybe we should have a Superbowl party. Go Bears!

I will also be out of town on the weekend of the 24th.

Jeremy is personally hoping Da Bears win, but he most definitely does not want New England in the Superbowl. But, Indianpolis and New England are tied now so he might get his wish.

 

We will need somewhere to sit everyone and a BIG tv. LOL

 

I'm out for the 17th. The 3rd maybe, seems to work for more of us so far.

 

There are some members not into football, so I would like to suggest making the game into a social and do something on Saturday the 3rd(?). I want to include everyone...

 

The weekend of the 17th is no good for me. Other then that I should be open.

 

The 3rd sounds good, I will be in OK on the 9th. Visiting my baby

 

It might be hard for me to do the 3rd... but anything else should be good.

I also like the Superbowl idea either for the meeting or a social. Would be alot of fun.

 

Is anyone up to mini-golf? There is a place in the Mills...

 

Any idea what mini-golf cost there? Don't want to be to cheap, but with VisionCon coming up all my extra money is going for that trip.

 

I can't remember the exact price, but it was reasonable. I can call today if you want.

 

Mini golf? I hope it's nothing like real golf. Is that the one with just a putter and the windmills, ect?

 

Yeah, with windmill and short stretches of green. Yeah, if you want to call go ahead. It would be good to get prices first.

 

It's about $10 a game each for adults. If we have over 12 people it's $7 each. Head count time?

 

Do we have 12 people left in the group? LOL

Of course I plan to attend whatever we decide...and could bring Ranada to fill a spot.

 

I like the idea of mini-golf, but I will probably just watch. I am sooo broke.

 

How about pool? The place over by Crestwood Mall is very inexpensive and they also have darts, ping pong and video games.

 

On a 10 scale: Pool= 10 and Mini golf=2

 

What's it called? That doesn't sound bad either.

 

The Pink Galleon...you now me. Pool vastly outweighs mini golf any day!

Have we decided on a day and time yet?

 

Not yet Tom, but we are working on it. Do we want to meet for dinner first? Or eat the wonderful bar offerings? Either way what time is good? 6ish?
