On February 20th the Guild Cinema on Central presents "Bubba Ho-Tep" This film stars Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness) and Ossie Davis.

OOOOHHH!!!!! I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO SEE THIS MOVIE EVER SINCE I READ ABOUT IT ON AICN! ME WANTS TO GO!!!!

 

Wow I could actually go! That's a wild trailer. Is this the guy that did Edward Scissorhands?

 

Tim Burton? No, this movie's too campy for even him. This is by some guy by the name of Don Coscarelli. Never heard of him before, but with Bruce Campbell as Elvis? Man, that's a gold mine right there! LOL

Looking up Don Coscarelli on IMDB nets this. Okay, not an unknown!

I can try but I doubt I will be able to make it.... I don't get off of work until 6pm.. if not I can go another night.

I am sure it will be awesome especially is Bruce is in it...

 

What time will the film be? Any ideas?

I just want to see it and I know that the guild sometimes only plays films once or twice...

 

I just talked to someone at the Guild theatre. They said it is too early to have exact times. It is about 95 minutes long so evening would be around 8.

I think so! We mentioned it yesterday, so I think the plans are still on...

 

My friend Robin here at work is looking into times for the show.

 

To this moment...the Guild Theatre has not announced the times for the showing of Bubba Ho-Tep. I am just blown away that they have no clue!

a mummy is stalking and killing people in an old folks home... 2 residents-Bruce Campbell who plays Elvis and Ossie Davis-who believes he is JFK-go to battle with the Mummy... also, I know bruce campbell wears a bejeweled jumpsuit and uses a walker while Ossie Davis is in a wheelcahir. at least that is what I think its about...
