Below is a list of common terms and abbreviations used in this forum that will be helpful for readers searching this index using the find functions in their browsers:

EU - Expanded Universe (all of the books)
JA - The Jedi Apprentice books about Obi-Wan's youth before TPM
pre-TPM - takes place before the movies
AU - alternate universe
OC - original (author-originated) characters
GFFA - Galaxy Far, Far Away
H/C - hurt/comfort
vignette - a one-post story, especially a single scene
humor - lots of silliness
angst - anguish, torment, fear, anxiety
crossover or x-over - mixing Star Wars with another movie, tv series or book
round robin or RR - multi-author story inviting more people to join in (also called an add-on)
song fic - a story based on the lyrics of a song

Notes: First off, I'm not watching the Clone Wars cartoon, but I think that this vig may feature spoilers for recent episodes. If you want to avoid spoilers, you're probably better off coming back to this one later. That said, muses reappear with the oddest prompts sometimes. This vig comes from a Wookieepedia quote Bri_Windstar shared with me (I think it's spoilery, so highlight to read): "At some point, Satine had a relationship with Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, but they eventually broke it off to concentrate on their respective jobs as peacekeepers." This rather annoyed me, since I felt it to be OOC, and my muse found my indignation inspiring. For what it's worth, here's the result. Thanks to Bri and ViariSkywalker for looking it over, but it's not properly betaed and any mistakes are mine. Read at your own risk.

Title: Two Steps Forward: A Journal After ROTS

Characters: I'm not entirely sure how long this story could go for, but it might involve Yoda at some point. Otherwise it will be purely OC.
Summary: A twenty something year old woman's life is ruined when the empire finds out she's Force sensitive several years after the Jedi purge. She is hunted, captured, rescued, but ends up finding herself alone again on a planet she knows nothing about and must find a way to live. With the help of an old lady and an interesting, but mysterious martial artist, she learns about herself and her unclaimed Jedi abilities.
Notes: I hope you all like this story. It's a new kind of story for me, but it should have a lot of twists and turns and plenty of drama and fun.

Background premise and Summary: Anakin returned to the light before he went too far over the edge and defeated Palpatine with help from Mace and Yoda. Thus, the Jedi are still intact with academies on Denon and Coruscant. A/P are together naturally, and Leia and Luke were raised together. Luke and Leia go on a mission to Balmorra to deal with Hutts and other good for nothings with Mara and Callista (who is a Jedi but is not unconnected to the Force). Luke and Mara at this point are just friends, but that changes. Leia meets Han there and snark and romance ensue.
