Madison, WI Febuary Meeting

Just to get the ball rolling when do people have free time?

 

Well, Elise and I are going to the Bahamas between the 8th and the 19th. We'll be gone for 7 days, and I don't get to know the exact dates because it's a surprise. So before or after would be good for us.

 

I know I'm out for the weekend of the 23rd.

 

Lucky for you two! sounds fun....I'm trying to think when Michelle and I are free...well its mostly dependent on my work schedule yet again. Lets just start throwing out dates. Week nights including Friday nights are the BEST for me but I know that might not be the case for many others.

Alright, I found out when we are going. We leave on the 11th and come back on the 18th. I have a thing with my mom on the 3rd from 12 to 2, so after that would be ok. So besides that week and Saturday, Elise and I are open.

 

I'm up for any day. The only request that I have is that it be in the afternoon on a weekend or if it is in the evening, make it a weekday.

 

I'm coming to this one! I promise!

 

I'd like to suggest that Leslie chooses the time and place for next month's meeting.

 

Leslie??? I must meet this new person.

I suggest the 9th at 5:30pm (whichever bookstore is best - east or west... hee, made a rhyme)
As a back-up, maybe the 10th at 10:00am, same location as above.

Once again, I think we should allow Valerie pick. If Leslie chooses, she shall rue the day she ever chose. Rue the day!

 

Friday works for Elise and I also. Where's it going to be?

 

For the west side we could do Barns and Noble again
or if we do the east side Boarders is a good choice or we could check out someplace new.

We are kind of limited due to the cold weather I do know that most restaurants will be out of the question, a Friday night is a busy night and with the UW Badger Hockey team in town that night it will make things even busier

 

OK, here's a new cool idea... the Madison Ice Arena... could go ice skating and have our meeting there. Just an idea, nothing more.

(Looked at their schedule and there's no skating on that date. Strange but true. So much for that.)

I don't think Elise ice skates, that was a good idea though. I can't think of anything except for the book stores. If we do go to a restaurant, going early shouldn't be a problem since people are still getting off work and traveling home.
