Federal court strikes down Net Neutrality?

    The FCC has lost a case in federal court, and the AP reports that this ruling strikes down the government's power to make sure the Internet stays as equal and neutral as possible so it's not manipulated by big business.

    Well presumably the next step would be an appeal. However the actual court decision was that the FCC hadn't been given the authority to do what they did, so the next step there would be for Congress to grant them that authority.

    Luckily this happened after Citizens United so that businesses aren't constrained in their spending.

    Cue the money train.

    Money train won't help if the FCC says we are doing it anyway and expanding their own laws. Plus, Washington gets what it wants. Even if a few senators scream aloud when a govt agency says we want it they usually get what they want without much discussion.
