i feel like this is the one major where he could maybe break through, but his return game is so soft. murray through in straights. djoker/tsonga coming up. i can't watch though.

Another straight sets win for Murray. Struggled a bit after the rain break, but got the job done.

I agree, tom. He'll need a tournament to completely fall to him in the way Krajicek did.

Got to love Djokavic. Signs the kids flag, gives him a hair ruffle, then goes back and gives him his towel.

    Sharapova is out.

Nadal loses the first set again. Play is ongoing in the second set right now.

Go Bouchard! Nice to see the younger women get a shot at the title.

Re Sharapova - one less screecher to go through. Works for me.

Federer has a decent shot at the finals, though he has to get past his fellow Swiss. Even a semifinal loss would be a victory for him at this point, although I'm fundamentally not against a 19 year old Australian out of nowhere winning the whole thing.

Nadal is our. Amazing to see him lose against nobodies on grass.

Well, he does have two Wimbledon titles, so it's not like he hasn't done well there in his career. He reached five straight finals (with 2009 in there as well, when he didn't play at all). That's a remarkable achievement for anyone.

The difference between Rafa's Roland Garros time in, say, 2008 is much different from the past several years. He crushed Federer in the finals that year and was barely challenged at all throughout the tournament. He even won a grass tune-up that year, I believe.

I wonder if much will be made in future years about the increased time starting next year between the French Open and Wimbledon, and whether that would have helped Nadal enough to add more wins to his Wimbledon career.

Dimitrov just stole Murray's lunch in that first set.

I want Bouchard to win this title so badly. Big fan.

Murray in a bit of trouble, Djokovic on his way to losing the second set. Fun day!

Everything lined up perfectly for Halep, but I'd love to see Bouchard break through.

A Cilic/Dimitrov Wawrinka/Kyrgios seminfinal seems so outlandish, but who knows? Murray is doing his part.

It's a bloodbath out there! Djokovic may take it in five, Federer down a set, Murray out.

Good God Murray. Yes Dimitrov played quite well, but Murray was missing easy shots all over. I felt bad for him but also baffled.

Genie has really ramped it up this second set. Looks like she may close out Halep and face Kvitova in the final.

Fantastic performance from Bouchard. What a year she's had. Made the semifinals in every major this year. Broke through to the finals in her third attempt.

I'm really looking forward to seeing her take on Kvitova on Saturday.
